UP Diliman has the best architecture program in the Philippines. The school's name - UP Diliman - is its number selling point. It is very selective and very exclusive to the intellectual elite and extremely talented students. I think everyone at UST would be very much willing to swap its place with one at UP Diliman's archi. I'm an international student at UP Diliman from Japan studying engineering, btw. :)

if you are an insider (from the industry itself), you will learn that it is dominated by the Thomasian architects. UP appeared to be good in THEORETICAL aspects of the course. I once work as a company liaison officer (while pursuing my law studies) in one of the biggest archi firms in the Philippines (with projects in China, US, Europe, Egypt). So many Thomasians, very few UPians in the company profile. Try to make a survey of beautiful buildings or edifice in the Philippines, most likely it is constructed by a Thomasian architect.
