Revit isn't the best software out there, but it's definitely not the worst. The problem with it is the steep learning curve, but when you're finally familiar with Revit, it'll be way more convenient to use compared to AutoCAD and Sketchup with some functions. For my workflow, I'll use Revit for planning, but I'll still use Sketchup for my facade conceptualizations. Same principle with manual drawing, there's no harm in using mixed mediums. To each there own padin, practice practice lang and find what suits your workflow. Sakin lang I'll say never entirely disregard Revit. There's so many functions on there that's industry standard and would lean on asap over CAD and Sketchup.
