I've been sitting on the fence re another dongle DAC (I have the somewhat ancient Fiio BTR3, now a ridiculous price downunder thanks to inflation). Doing the conversion to AUD, you've sold me ...... On the Dawn Pro. Roughly 10aud more expensive but no pops and a less clinical sound signature. Thanks !

I'm also in Aus, I tried to get the Dawn Pro as well as it's a no brainer but the local supplier didn't have it in stock. So I got the Blon V1 from Linsoul after heaps of research.

Tempotec Sonata BHD claimed to has 280mW via its BAL port. During SALE, can get it for under USD33. i prefer Sonata BHD over Moondrop Dawn Pro.

@kikiwonwon29 I've had like 8 Moondrop IEMs and one Chu 2 had a channel balance issue that they replaced under warranty. My guess is they just sell so much more than most brands that there are more cases, but average percentages overall.

@@hartyewh1 a lot of issues like moisture, imbalance, dead driver, loose pin connector, shell broken half,... Happens with dac dongle too: dawn pro is an example. TWS sucks too, many many situations broken after months. It is the brand use almost every waifu anime female character print on box to stimulate users like us, which is a trap.

The inside of this Blon V1 dongle DAC is the exact circuit board/chips replica as the AkLiam PD4 Plus! The silver PD4 Plus looks beautifully elegant though! With a dual Cirrus Logic DAC chip these.players sound amazing when using it with the Wavelet app. Without this app these DAC's sound like TRASH!
