I have Black Incense Malaki, and I must admit, I can’t manage to wear it. I love spraying it on a blotter to smell and enjoy it, but not to have it on me constantly. (I feel the same way about Bentley for Men Intense.) Thank you for this video. After watching it, I’ll blindly purchase Rose Malaki. By the way, Malaki means ‘royal’ in Arabic. Best regards.

I been watching for a while... I like you style. So I too am going to purchase Chopard rose and musk. I have already gotten oud malaki, cedar malaki and 1000 miglia. Have enjoyed these frags. I have only 2 chopards in my collection, Oud Malaki and Bois Nómades ( other line ). I like both yes, but I feel these 2 very serious, good fragrances but nothing playfull like other woody dark fragrances like Varvatos or Tom Ford for example. Good video !!

Def gonna be trying some of those at some point, I really appreciate your knowledge and presentations. Not to simplify such eloquence, always just informative, no nonsense and mature for those of us older than 32:) Men's fragrance worn by women, or women's frags worn by men is a bit iffy for me. I like those "neutral" labels myself, just allows the user to decide kind of thing. For example, I don't think I'd ever wear a women's labed fragrance even though the ad may say "for him or her" kind of thing, but one labeled "neutral" I'd be more likely to try I think.

Gucci Guilty Absolute? No wayyy. I have both. Cedar Malaki always gets me compliments. So underrated. I had the owner of a restaurant out of his office after asking his employees what was that smell. I made friends that day. Of course you need to look the part.

It's fascinating the whole male/ female conundrum. I ordered a Discovery Set from Le Labo, and there was a Jasmin scent in there - LYS 41 - and at first I HATED it. I literally put it in my "Can't Stand It" pile. Then as a few weeks went by, I came back to it and sniffed again out of curiosity, and that time was intrigued - like a "What IS this??". I kept coming back to it, and it's become one of my favorites. Likewise one of my guy friends absolutely loves one of their floral scents - a scent one would clearly categorize as 'feminine' - but on him (again to my surprise) it absolutely works.

I had a hard time understanding Musk Malaki, it's kind of a weird one. Black Incense is awesome and very wearable. The latest Spicebomb Dark Leather seems to be inspired the Black Incense and Bvlgari Falkhar.
