Lots of action. Great that you include your son. You are living dangerously grabbing those flipping specks with plugs with treble hooks in their mouths. Sooner or later one is going to flip at the wrong time and bury that hook in your hand or finger and you'll need to head to ER.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Usually I use the boga grip to land fish but some of the smaller ones I don't.

Yes, Bird island is a good place to start. It’s a hard sand bottom, wade the grass line.

Great video. Great Father! I have taught both my children and their children to fish Lower Laguna. It’s tough for young kids….they just can’t work as large a piece of water. You were very patient, positive and instructive.

Not entirely true. I share the general area, and there’s maybe 4 spots you can drive to get there that’s public if you look up drive up spots in upper laguna madre. So pick one and go learn the spot. The most important thing outside of the exact spot is timing. Then lure choice.
