The saddest part is after Spider's murder, Spider's mother would come to the club every night looking for him. And they all had to play dumb like they didn't know his body wasn't buried in the basement.

It is not common knowledge where Spiders body is buried. Spiders family used to call the Howard Stern show asking Henry Hill where Spiders body is but he wouldn't tell them. Because Henry Hill used to call in to the Howard Stern show drunk and embarrass himself all the time.

I saw an interview with Michael Imperioli (Spider) where he talked about filming this scene. He said that after one take, some of the broken glass from the drink trays he was carrying cut up his hand and arm so the crew decided to take him to the ER. But they forgot to remove his squib vest before they did, so when he arrived at the hospital the doctors immediately rushed him into surgery thinking he'd actually been shot multiple times.

The craziest thing is that this movie is a true story. The DVD has commentary from the real Henry Hill and he talks about Tommy killing Spider in this scene.

The real Spider was buried underneath the basement. When the real Jimmy was arrested, he just finished cementing the floor the night before because he just moved Spider's body to a different location.

Spider was a good, hardworking kid who was going to be something in life- and a boy becoming a man, so he knew there was going to be trouble one day or another when Tommy got back. So he made his mind up ahead of time - deciding he'd rather be unalive than a coward or afraid; and so, let the chips fall where they may.

That scene in the movie of Tommy being whacked for killing made member of a family without a permission from the Commission is inaccurate. Either way, Tommy's decision of killing Billy led to his death.

The scary thing is, Joe Pesci's depiction of Thomas DiSimone was understated if you can believe it. Tommy D was much, much more vicious than was depicted in Goodfellas.
