Let me tell you something Cpt. Jack I am so mad at you right now! You go and premiere the Apple Busch, I never would have seen it probably, if not for you. Sam endorsed it as well and that girl can talk me into anything. So now I'm hooked on the Apple Busch and they ain't making it anymore. I know, I checked with them! I have a small supply I've laid up and now I can't stand drinking any other beer. I've tried my old favorite and it just don't get the job done anymore. I'm going to have to give up beer now thanks to you. Also I sent you an IM on Facebook and you have yet to read it. I've asked at least twice for a "best of Sam" vid and ain't seen it yet either!!!! And now you got some fierce weather pounding on you (if you believe the news) and I have to fear for Sam's safety. Just remember "Nothing is to good for the Cav, and nothing is exactly what you will get" from an old Cav man myself : )

Duck hunting in IL. On a nuclear power cooling lake (water temp +50, air temp -15) lost the feeling in my hands....hit the throttle and drove my boat on top of the trailer guides. Boat was sideways on the trailer and balancing on the guide...lol.

Snow's Cut Inlet, Carolina Beach, NC is not a natural inlet. It was dredged out by The Army Corps of Engineers in the 50s, I think it was the 50s...anyway, it has to pretty much be continuously dredged, especially after a storm...yall be safe down there, BTW. I have seen that inlet so shallow you had to pretty much ride a swell or a wave to make it through!. Good times. Thanks for sharing you watching videos while we watch you watch videos!

Worst one was cracking a rib in Port St Joe bay as a storm expanded over us. Waves suddenly went from 1' swells to 4' swells as I was in the front pulling up the anchor - boat went up and down pretty fast, slight delay on me coming down and I hit the edge of the platform (it REALLY HURT)!!!

I had a boat sink from under me once because the a hole that sold it to me didn't tell me the transom had two big holes in it. I was the first time boat buyer and he lied to me. Perhaps if you're going to buy a boat and it's on dry land, grab a garden hose and put a few feet of water in it while it's in the dudes yard. If you see water coming out of the boat you should run away.

Haulover Inlet is pretty nasty, saw a few small boats flip when I lived down there and they had a kid die the other day saving another family that flip.. But if you can make it pass the inlet, it smoothes out afterwards.. And it's pretty gnarly on fishing party boats too, luckily I never went out on a day like that one in the video..

Surfing waves on a Laser in Destin Pass, about an hour of fun before getting caught in an auto-jibe, capsized, turned turtle, and broke the mast. My buddy tried towing me back to the harbor but we were washed out into the Gulf, worked our way out of the current and onto the beach. Pulled the boats above the tide line and hoofed it around the harbor back to the truck. That was a long day, expensive, but fun.

Would love to hear if anyone's tried using waterproof grease for their reel? I know that not what you're "supposed" to use but if I can use a single grease that protects my reels better I don't mind using a little more arm when fishing to crank that lever

It’s not hard to find yourself spending a good amount of time watching those videos from Haulover. Apparently, they have their own Crab Island situation down there and people like to day drink on the sand bar and then go play in the inlet when it get rolling...see if they can’t get on the you tube.

In Destin at the East Pass, going back in when the tides are fighting the outgoing current and the wind is bad is not fun at all. The swells can be so bad you think you are in a bowl made of water and when you are in one of the troughs, you basically pray that the wind doesn't curl the crests over the top of you - you would vanish and never be found again 😋

I got caught out in the middle of the Peace River Bay in a sudden storm 3.5 to 4 ft waves I surfed the kayak into PUNTA GORDA Isles. No flips no real story but very high winds and waves. At least I know what the limits are.

Love the hat. Hope you are safe during the storm. Lots of crazy boaters out there. I watched a guy on a 25ft center console try to set his anchor to close to a 52 foot sportfisher that was anchored. He drifted over the anchor line and was right next to the bow of the sport fisher. He had to cut his anchor line to get away from the other boat. I don't know how he did get the line caught in his prop.

I was hoping you had footage of the guy that used Bran'ts boat like a ramp!!! Great video. I have to admit I do some really stupid things from time to time with my boat. Cross winds when trying to get my boat on the trailer makes me look really bad. Also sometimes trying to ease to the dock.
