Remy LeBeau actually did gain his full power at one point and can now tap into that well of power if he still needs to he fought in alternate version of himself who would become pure kinetic energy in the same form he can tap into that power once again

No I think he means the speech about having to always hold back his full strength, speed, powers etc. How he feels like he lives in a world made of cardboard, afraid of killing someone he loves, or the world he protects. But you can handle it can't you big guy(Darkseid). It's an epic speech!😁

The Hulk's strength scales with his anger; he is never "holding back", he just isn't always as pissed off. If he had the capacity to hold back, he would not be a rage monster in the first place.

A great non-Marvel/DC hero hero that must continually hold back from using their full potential are Spawns. The early form pretty much all the Spawns are given a very limited amount of energy which once depleted would send him back to Hell. This causes Al Simmons to find other means to take down his foes like using guns or just using as minimal amounts of his precious energies as possible.

Actually, During the Sinestro Corps War, the No-Killing restriction was lifted by the Guardians because Sinestro's corps was able to kill any Green Lantern at will, and the GL couldn't defend themselves. I haven't seen a panel where we're told that the No Killing restriction was put back in place.

A bit interesting is that by holding back, or use the least suitable of their powers, in combat together with friends they risk the lives of those friends. Superman shouldn´t need any one to fight with him as long as he doesn´t face magic, for instance, but should be able to take down anyone.

Firestorm in DC Comics is also like Captain Atom, during Identity Crisis, he was impaled by the Shadow Thief using the Shining Knight's sword and he had to fly away from Earth before he exploded in a nuclear explosion.

Citizen Steel. His super strength, combined with his losing all sense of touch, meant he had to be permanently encased in a special armor that dampens his strength least he accidentally hurt someone or break anything he touches since he could not control his strength (lacking feedback). The one time he took off said armor, he literally knocked down a god that the entire JSA and Earth 22 (Kingdom Come) Superman combined were struggling against, in TWO blows.

The reason Shazam beats Superman is because his powers are magic based, which is a weakness of Superman. But yea there are definitely lvls to God's and the greek gods are wimpy compared to others.

Some are accurate but not for the reasons they say as the flash Allen almost tore himself apart going to fast in the speed force superman once punched so hard he almost destroyed his entire body scarlet witch almost went insane and tore apart all reality across the entire mutiverse (including herself) the Hulk actually has a version of the devil in his psyche which will destroy himself to plunge the world in darkness most on here don't have to hold back they just choose to , big difference
