Writers quickly get obsessed with more and greater powers. I really hate this. More and greater power are a crutch to solve problems and win battles. Characters are close to invulnerable. This makes a writers job easier. I like characters that have to be cleaver to solve problems with the limits they have and have to deal with the fact they can be harmed or killed.

There are lots of interesting newer mutants here w/unique powers & histories. To make them truly memorable, they need tl build more team chemistry amongst them & guve them solo story opportunities. Too many mutants can get too confusing!

One final thought, I didn't realize how many more mutants there are in all of the X titles! I knew there were a lot, but never dreaned there were this many! I grew up on the classic Xmen comics of 70's/80's.

You are cute so give you a pass But you highlighted mutants who are not new X-men. Then in the case of Kamala Khan, first of all read both her recent mini series she has done a lot and still is. Also and more importantly she was always intended to be a mutant, see commentary by the original creators. With Synch he not new, but gained prominence he deserved, in the Krakoan Era. Synch I hope is one of the secret solos Marvel has not announced yet for From the Ashes.

As much as i love comics. All these over powered characters is just boring. The fact that wolverine WAS one of the few with Adamanium made him so great. Now anyone can get the most rare metal invention made on Earth. Unless you have duplication powers or you know the 4th wall writer ✍️ that can return that favor….! Amanda Sefton is just an adopted sister, what is cringe worthy about that? Maybe its because I dont have any sisters but to me this is no big deal, I mean at least he can guarantee shes not even a cousin and that I found out (not first hand) happens accidentally more then you can believe, I had a friend whos girlfriend he found out was actually a second cousin after they were together for 3 years, Avoid your family accidentally getting together more often by organizing more often family get-togethers... its better to share some cold beers and Oscar Maye wieners with your unknown cousins at a barbecue than to share your weener with an unknown cousin after a John Mayer concert...And No Beers... 😭
