On swamp thing's retcon: It didn't just make him more powerful, but more interesting as well. It made the series focus on Swamp Thing trying to discover himself and accept that he wasn't human and figure out what that meant.

First - is the relationship between Natasha and Bucky really separate from the retcon that brought him back? Second - as someone who's been a Green Lantern fan since the 70s (I bought some of the Adams/O'Neil run off the spinner rack), I can tell you that having Hal go crazy made NO sense whatsoever.

The Colored Bandana's Of The TMNT For their Small Screen debut In December 1987 which was smart choice given that In the Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird comics from the mid 1980's they all wore Red and the only one to retain that was Raphael

The identity of Superboy's human DNA before the "Lex Luthor" reveal was in no way a mystery. It was originally Paul Westfield, director of Cadmus.

One Deadpool retcon is that Deadpool is not really Wade Wilson. His arch enemy T-Ray was really Wade Wilson whom he killed, along with T-rays wife Mercedes, and for some reason Deadpool took on the identity of Wilson (think it was Joe Kelly) and was later undone in just a couple panels of Christopher Priests run

IIRC Geoff Johns himself suggested the Lex Luthor being Superboy's genetic donor in a letter to the Superboy comics that was printed in the issue.

I was so outraged when I first heard they brought Bucky back. He was Cap’s whole motivation for being a modern hero! Thankfully it was very well done and added to the lore. I still remember the Justice for Stephanie Brown fansite for when she had died. I enjoyed them bringing her back and wish her time as Batgirl hadn’t been cut so short.

Conner Kent’s other half was originally known. It was originally revealed to be The Gaurdian. Then they retcon that to be unknown then Luthor. Please get this stuff right if you’re making vids like this.

The _Secret Wars: Deadpool_ mini retconned that Wade was the first human to bond with the Venom symbiote. He served as the template for how it would respond future hosts and that's why it feeds on cancer cells and acts like a yandere for Spidey and Brock. It thinks all people are like Deadpool.

1:28 It wasn't original sin It was sins past. Original sin revealed the existence of silk and the spider that bit Peter also biting her before dying which led into all the morlun and multiverse stuff

Uh... The other side of Conner's genetic material had long been known to be the director of Cadmus at the time. The reveal of Luthor being the true other donor was just a way of explaining why Superboy wasn't quoted from existence when the director was wiped out of all realities during the invention of Hyoertime.

Recons of Dr Savage in DC Comics and the Multiverse people forget this character has appeared as a part of the DC universe and as a single character in his timelines only. The crazy thing is Doctor Savage has appeared in the Marvel Universe too, but that was an odd storyline as he was actually in a different universe to the current Marvel Universe or so told at the time. There have been some stories where this has changed as a fantasy story or supernatural event where he meets the Defenders and Dr Strange and even The Hulk or X-Men and it then revealed he knows Reed Richards and Professor X. Meanwhile in DC Comics he there meets Superman and Batman or at least references meeting them in his Comics? The recons timelines are a sort of what-if reference and there's another recon universe that exists outside all references to the known multiverse created by the one above all and the DC universe pantheon is an Omniverse where characters are mixed up in a conflict of all sorts of historic battles or pieces of recons. Wonder Worlds and Super Worlds or basic old stories set in the 1940s to 2000s precrisis events stuck in a loop.

The whole Bucky is alive thing and the winter soldier was a thing for 20 years. He killed Zemo, in front of the case with his Bucky uniform in it.

the superboy retcon you mentioned no one knew where the "OTHER human half of superboy's DNA came from", that is false. as was stated WAY back in Adventures of Superman 506 (5 issues after the character of superboy appeared in reign of the supermen) that when superman and the young clone return to project cadmus that it the clones origins were revealed (his powers etc etc) and how he was actually the clone of superman and Project Cadmus director Paul Westfield, who's DNA was used to fill int he gaps of the superman DNA that they couldn't crack just yet. which lead to a superboy villian coming after him in the supeboy comics storyline "evil factory" and around the "sins of youth" storyline. This was becauuse She was westfield's daughter and hated superboy. so, no it was never "for years no one knew who his human half came from." in fact it was not even a year or 6 months for that fact. superboy's human dna half was paul westfield, until it was retconned to be lex
