However, there are so many who have used their career as a way to do heinous crimes as they travel throughout the country and many are never caught because they are always on the move. My husband is a truck driver. He has seen many things at their main terminal. Most time it's late at night, he's just come in, and something wants his attention! Once he was there, heard a knock at his door, went to check, and a strange looking woman asked if he knew where such such trailer park was? He told her the only one around was just a few feet up the road at the next turn in. She said ok, and started walking AWAY from the cab. He turned around, closed the door, and looked back, she was gone. It was a matter of seconds. He looked back at the backside of his trailer, nothing! She had vanished! You could see ALL over the parking lot, she was gone! He said she seemed off somehow. Not right. He got a bad feeling from her. Another time, (more than once) he would be there, have his headlights on, and see a shadow out of the corner of his eye. Like when someone walks in front of the lights. Again, he would go to check it out, NOTHING! He has had MANY supernatural events in his lifetime. That's what he gets for marrying ME! lol....I'm very open to them....Even when I don't want to be! We have always saw stuff, heard stuff, and felt stuff throughout our marriage. Same for our 2 boys. I'm proud of my hubby! He's keeping the essentials going. lol 😊💗💗

Dang, it's too bad the guy in the first story filled his tank at the Park City Sinclair. He should have held off for another 20 miles until he got down Parley's Canyon and into Salt Lake City. Fuel--and everything else--is always more expensive in the ski resort town of Park City, sometimes by quite a significant amount. Never buy stuff up there, even if you're staying up there. Come on down the mountain, stock up on supplies, then go back up to PC. Or keep heading west down I-80 to Reno, as the case may be. Just remember not to pick up passengers in the Nevada wastelands. As an "over the road" truck driver, it is indeed, a "black eye" to our profession when looking at the history of all the serial killers that have turned out to be truckers. If I'm involved in a conversation when this subject comes up, it is indeed embarrassing knowing I work in the same industry as these twisted, sick and evil human beings. I take it very, VERY, personal because of the "bad name" they give too each and everyone of us "sane" and normal truck drivers. The horror, pain, devastation and heartbreak these animals unleash onto innocent victims, their families and the general public, makes me sick to my stomach and really makes me angry. I have seen in a few documentaries on why some of these creeps seem to have careers being truck drivers more so then any other job. I found the professional findings of doctors and profilers very interesting. #1. Very easy for one of these predators to get a potential victim. Prostitutes, someone who needs or asks for a ride, hitchhikers, a person who's car or pickup truck broke down or teenage runaways. There are always transients, homeless people, sex workers and people down on their luck at truck stops. Potential victims, one and all. The ever changing hours a trucker lives by can make it easy also. A lot of the time, these murders occur at 3 or 4 in the morning. #2. A very high percent, I think it was 90-95%, of serial killers are "loners". What better job for a loner to have but a long haul truck driver. Plus, with so many roadways, Interstate highways and different states traveled through, disposing of a body in a neighboring state is very easy. What freaks me out and what makes me "pay attention" of my surroundings ALL THE TIME when I'm on the road is the following.. In the documentary, "The Killing Season", the producers interview a convicted serial killer in prison. He was a truck driver. He said, that TODAY......RIGHT NOW, there is a secret "club" of truck drivers on the road. There used too be 10 people in this club, now he said there are 7 people left in this club. They all drive for different companies and are usually scattered here and there around the country. When they do contact another member of that club, it's too give them a women or a child they have kept as prisoner or sex slave. Sometimes they need help getting rid of a dead body. That convict said, "between all of us in that club, the 10 of us have probably killed at least 75-80 people. Maybe more". That scared me and really freaked me out when I watched that. Be safe traveling the highways everybody.

They were all good, but I have to say ... that first one took the cake for me. Don't want to say anything that will spoil it, for people who like to read comments first, so I'll just say I didn't see it coming and that's the best kind of story like this for sure!

Much respect to our truckers! Years ago I saw a documentary called Big Rig about truckers in America. It was great and I highly recommend it.

I was driving behind a truck once.... all of a sudden a mysterious, isolated milk gallon filled with glowing, yellow liquid flew overhead. It was spooky.

Truckers dont have much of a choice, I think. It is their job, nobody elses. Fortunately, many of them are allowed to have guns in their hauls. Not every haul goes without a truckers security threatening issue.
