Taj Farrant, the 9 year old playing a Gibson electric guitar, is now 13 years old. At 9 years old he became the youngest guitar player endorsed by Gibson guitars. He also was asked to play on stage with Carlos Santana. Taj has started writing his own music and singing. His KZbin video of Tennessee Whiskey has more than 4.5 million views, it’s absolute amazing!

I have to say that it doesn’t matter what age you are, when you got music inside of you or you can play music you are a gifted soul. Music comes from the deepest part of your soul and it should be shared with the world your talents that you have been given. I love to see that talent put to use. If you have that gift of music of singing or jst playing music drums,guitar, etc, follower your heart. Stop listening to people that always say that singing or playing an instrument i say go for it. If someone tells you that your not talented enough then maybe its time you found some new friends that will support your dream. God bless you and your beautiful talents.

@valogden2 жыл бұрын
I have seen kids that may have more music theory and have taken lessons that appeared more skilled. Taj Farrant for the most part plays by ear and can usually play something after hearing it once. He was taught by his dad and then a guitar teacher that said he had no more to teach him. One thing Taj has that most of the most technically skilled other young guitar players don't is he actually feels the music and you see it when he's playing. That's something that is natural and can't be taught.

Youngest person Gibson sponsored ever. A few other equipment providers endorse him right next to huge names. The kid is a prodigy that keeps on upping himself everytime he puts something out.. Never heard him strum one bad note and he does the greatest originals off the cuff. Ad libs to backing tracks on live shows. I think he does them weekly. Well worth taking the time to listen. His originals are unreal! Blues Sunday is my favorite but there's many great ones. Most of them he is playing for the first time as he is making them up. Phenomenal guitarist!
