I have replaced my house 13A plug tops and sockets several times due to melting. I have changed it to the highest quality and even tightened the wire to the plug top and socket terminals to the best of my effort, and I still see the 13A plug top very hot. I have given up using this portable clothes dryer. I find this made-in-China product is not safe.
