Nah, nah, D.O is amazing and better than many, many kpop idols but for killing voice he didn't had ant impressive parts for him to added in the list. Baekhyun is good but other singers in the list have more impressive voice range, resonance and overall quality of their vocals including styles and tones. But Suho..let's be honest please, he did not stand out and his vocal is weak compare to these excellent, breathtaking vocalists in the list. The only time he was impressive was when he sang the cream soda chorus at the end after Chen. He delivered it smoothly and I was impressed.

For people saying that Seungyoon should not be on this list..Let me remind you that..He is the only 3rd gen idol to be crowned 6 times as the King in King of Masked Singers, won twice in Immortal Songs and MBC's Chart Rewriting show..He has a 4 octave vocal range and can switch easily from a strong chest voice to an equally strong head voice, which is rare for a baritone..and most importantly He never LIPSYNCS WHILE PERFORMING LIVE and always sounds impeccable

i hope newer kpop fans (meaning people who got into kpop through 4th gen) have a chance to watch other killing voices like infinite, btob, winner, etc. bc while newer groups are amazing as well, they are def missing out on a lot of great content and i hope older groups aren't forgotten about as the years go by. then again i know older gen groups aren't everyone's cup of tea but it's nice to see newer fans still appreciating classic kpop :)

the 4th and maybe 5th gen are in serious need of true main vocals. most main vocals nowadays would literally be subvocals on 3rd gen. i wonder if, aside from sm, labels aren't debuting main vocalists because they're not "pretty enough" for them. must be the only answer... there are so many talented people out there.

@@onlyfrog I feel like it’s more because of the direction the music is going. other than sm most companies aren’t pushing for songs with extreme high notes anymore and are just going for that trendy sound with songs that are shorter than 3 minutes. I’ve actually found myself irritated a few times bc they’ll even cut high notes short or there would be a final chorus that was in dire need of a high note/ad libs but all companies care about nowadays are appealing to audiences on tiktok (challenges and stuff like that). I feel like there are obvious exceptions but it’s honestly so sad bc there’s an abundance of good singers wanting to become idols but they’re not being valued as much anymore

@@lee-mw5hk this makes sense as well! but i don't think they'd discard amazing singers solely for that, yk? they can simply not use their full potential, but that's not what's happening. they're debuting pretty people who struggle deeply to sing live, and who aren't outstanding neither in dancing or rapping - not that it didn't happen before, but it's like the norm now. i msf love some idols who aren't exceptional in anything other than being pretty, having good facial expressions and being funny, but it should be a couple in the group, not the majority.

@@onlyfrog I agree with the visual part but i think they’re gathering people who are just average to good at everything (allrounders) and I think the reason they seem to be bad at something (like singing or rapping) is bc companies are making songs that either have boring parts or they don’t match what the idol can do. also, idk if this is just me but it seems like the later gen groups tend to focus more on intense choreo rather than vocals or rap so i think that’s why the main vocalists aren’t as strong. not saying that you can’t also be a good dancer as a main vocalist, but if you see older groups their main vocalists weren’t chosen bc they were good at dancing, but rather bc they were average at it but the vocals were outstanding.

It's annoying how they underestimate btob, sungkyung and seungyoon, Bruh no matter how much of a fan you are, you have to be honest. I've been listening to Kpop since 2017 and I've known him since 2014, you can't tell me something that isn't, Changsub's vocalist from Btob deserves that position, his voice is at the level of D.O and Seungkwang, even much more so, Changsub has a very wide vocal, he easily reaches highs and lows, his voice is beautiful, sung kyu, the leader of infinite, is one of the best vocalists in kpop with a wide range, Dk's vocal is great but you can't say out of fanaticism that the vocalists of btob, infinite and winner are left behind, PLEASE! even in that list eungkwang from btob was missing, his vocal is so broad, and he easily reaches the highs almost at Chen's level, his high notes are incredible, and seungyoon is a king, do not underestimate old groups that are not so popular today just because of your fanaticism 😒

Do Kyungsoo is just incredible in every sense. He is one of the few vocalists who can make your heart flutter and cause a storm of emotions. He manages his deep voice and sweet timbre with such ease that the same part can sound completely different "starting very roughly and ending unrealistically gently". Kyungsoo's unique voice gives each song a unique charm. I'm ready to listen to his voice as much as I want.! Even when Kyungsoo just speaks, he wants to listen and listen to endlessly, such a pleasant voice.
