May 2006 my stomach & colon burst apart. Dr in ER told me I was the 2nd case, 1st woman, he'd heard of that survived such, the other being a man a decade before me. About a decade after I was a pilot car for oversized loads, on this particular trip of windmill parts, many other trucks & pilot cars parked in a huge rest area. While allowing my dog to potty, stretching my legs, a pilot car driver came up to pet my dog, started chatting & he told me his stomach & colon burst apart in mid '90s. What were the odds the other patient to survive was doing the same type job, chasing same type loads, going to the same drop off meeting coincidentally at the same rest area on the same project? His 1st name was same as my baby brother.

Is it really a coincidence that cyclones, basically the name for hurricane in tropical East Asia, occur in a sequence starting roughly at the same time each year, once ocean temperatures reach a critical point? I guess it’s also a coincidence the sun rises at approximately the same time each day depending on the latitude of your location and over the course of a year ends up being the same time as last year? Or is that just the mathematical reality of a rotating oblate spheroid which has its poles at a particular angle in relation to the ecliptic plane of the solar system, which can be calculated with an unbelievable level of precision to make extremely precise predictions about the movement of celestial bodies far into the future because the system has been stable and doing the same thing for literally billions of years and will continue to do so until the sun becomes a red giant, expanding and consuming the inner rocky planets, eventually running out of fuel and going supernova leaving only the suns inner core as some flavour of strange matter star whether white dwarf, collapsar, magnetar or black hole

People are creatures of habit. Clearly lightening boy was repeating the same patterns that got him struck the first time - being by a water or trees during a lightening storm. If he was in the house / indoors and got struck that would be impressive Also for those watching. Your body operates on electrical current from your brain to muscle organs and etcetera. So you can actually use microcurrent therapy to help rehabilitate muscles and other ailments. So it's not surprising that one electrical strike corrected his paralysis while the next electrical strike did him in. the intensity of the lightning also matters We use microcurrent in Muscle Therapy today.

Unlike Mr. Summerferd I haven't been hit 5 or 6 times but I have been indirectly hit by lightning via metal dog chain, a metal yard light pole, and twice through the water in the shower 🚿. The only one I actually was able to see happen was once in the shower. I saw a bright blue strike of light come through the water and my left arm an leg suddenly went numb and I feel through the shower door unable to feel my left side for about 10 minutes then pins and needles all through the left side.

The way he talks about the surname thing annoys me, statistics dont work like he explains it.. you cant take a random "rare" event and then look around for things to make it more and more unlikely. You can do that with everything, what was the chance you read this comment? there is 10 billion people that could have read it but you did, and on top of that you read it this exact moment and not in 20 minutes.. you can make anything extremely unlikely by adding factors of your choice

"The rivers of History will never cease to run dry of eerie parallels..." Dude, do you even read this crap or do you just mindlessly spout whatever word salad AI puts together for you? A river running dry means it's empty - nothing left. So saying that the rivers will never cease to run dry of eerie parallels means that there are no eerie parallels and there never will be. It's an extremely odd phrase to lead off with in a video about *_eerie parallels_* ! Words mean things. You consistently butcher them both by mispronunciation and by misuse. Stop it!!!

Do you not understand statistics at all? Many of these are not unlikely occurrences. To assist your intuition, start by imagining your last name is Bingham-Powell. The really “rare” part of the coincidence is now automatic. Nearly one of every thousand people you meet will be named “Bingham”, and far more will be “Powell”. You certainly won’t meet both a Bingham and a Powell regularly, but you have an entire lifetime for it to happen. Actually it’s WAY more than a lifetime though. There are MANY people named Bingham-Powell, and if it happens to ANY of them, EVER, this story results. But wait - it’s way more likely than that. We aren’t actually looking for “Bingham-Powell” because we only knew that was the name AFTER the coincidence. At its core, this coincidence is just a person with a hyphenated last name meeting strangers that share the parts of his name. So the real question is how many people have hyphenated names? Each of them has their entire lifetime to experience this coincidence. The truth is, this happens ALL THE TIME.
