I dont know if youbalready havevthem on there or not, but you know you can buy 1/4 inch o-rings that will hold your points in place and will stay tight on the arrow so you wont have to worry about using the pliersall the time. Hope that helps.

The power between a 150 lbs draw on a crossbow and say a 60 lbs draw on a long bow is not as massive difference as it may seem because the power stroke on the long bow is much greater, plus the arrow will be heavier than the bolt so the energy will be carried more efficiently I think. Nice bow and the arrow shoots through the bow in line with the string so you can have a stiffer spined arrow. I drop in on this site occasionally for archery tips (youtube Gary Chynne). ATB

I got 1 aluminum riser bow 50 pounds and the black hunter in 60 1 back quiver and 1 hip I'm thinking I should mod the hip and put a magnet in the back quiver. I love my black hunter bow simple powerful and accurate off the shelf shooting. My aluminum riser bow shoots better with an arrow rest more to look after. I'd like a tooles put together on the limbs of the black hunter that would make that even better.

Don't know if this will help with your carrying your gear in public but I use a Hockey Bag. Got mine on Amazon pretty cheap, and it has a few pockets on it to carry a recurve takedown bow and all your bits. I have a Win & Win Black wolf and it fits with loads of room for Arrows, bracers etc. All the best Mally

the arrow tips if you get some small o ring rubbers and slide over the thread on the tip once tightened they wont move

my only complaint is i just got this same bow and they didn't give me a bow string been fighting with the company for days they seem to think i live in another country and claim its still on its way even with my included picture of the bow and full kit with out the string. Shop with warning may not get what you paid for and they aren't gonna be much help

You should use a bow stringer the way you string a bow is a good way to twist the limb then the bow is useless...

Andy I just ordered the 50lb bow love the finish on it is why I gotten it I keep seeing reviews of them breaking. Is there anyway of avoiding this to happen? I would be very disappointed to see it break considering the money spent and how beautiful it is

Use a stringer to put the string on, and i always take mine down to store it. Also keep your string waxed. Hope that helps Atb Andy

One last question haha.. sorry to bother, but how often do you wax the string? After every use? I’ll continue to do research just so many different options on the internet 🤦🏻

Hey there! Some nice content on your channel:) I’m planning to buy this bow, since they are so good for the price, but I’m hesitating about the draw weight. 40 or 45 pounds. I used to have a 45 pound longbow, and had no issue with fatigue with it. Would you buy 40# again or would you go slightly higher if you could? Greetings:)

Start with a low poundage, you can always build up to a higher poundage even on this bow, you can buy limbs of more poundage from tom archery. Atb Andy

Can you clarify, is this just the Mandarin Black Hunter with a different finish and rebranded? It looks exactly the same. I’m keen to get the Black Hunter but I love the finish on the Top archery version.
