Thank you, Dave. Towards the end of the video, you said something like, "Oh yeah, these are some short cut keys." Thank you for mentioning these, as I would never have looked at them! I use an Elgato "Stream Deck +" and this is like a hot key pad with dials. I was able to use those short cuts to program my Stream Deck + and this helps my Topaz workflow so much smoother. Thank you. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Excellent thank you Dave . As a Fuji XT 4 shooter the option to choose to send from LR as ‘process with ‘ is a non starter because TPai does not handle raw files from the Xtrans sensor ..only Bayer . Accordingly I believe that DNG SDK disabled is the correct setting …do you concur please ? Many thanks

Not 100% sure Graham but I think that's right.

Thanks Dave so much I needed this! Just to check what a typical workflow is for you, is it to start in LR go to Photo AI where needed and then take into PS for processing using TK9?
@thejoyofeditingwithdavekelly Жыл бұрын
Yes, now that TPAI is doing a good job with Raw Files (no noticeable color shifts)I send the image to TPAI via LR Plugin Extras. I do basic edits in LR (Linear Profile) and then off to PS and TK9.

Dave, I tried your new workflow, but when I get the image back into LR, the Linear Profile for my Sony a7RV is not available. Do I need a new Profile specifically for the DNG file created? BTW, thanks, as always for your videos - the BEST!@@thejoyofeditingwithdavekelly

@@johnbarney8051 John you wouldn't need a new linear profile. I used to have the same problem with my Canon 5D Mark II RAW files. I was unable to use a Linear Profile when the image came back from Photo Ai. I guess they finally did something to make my RAW Files compatible with Photo Ai. This is probably the same case with your RAW Files. I would open up a ticket with Topaz and find out what is going on and how soon this issue will be resolved.
@johnbarney8051 Жыл бұрын
I did find a "workaround". I made a DNG file from my ARW file with the Linear Profile & then went to TP Ai - that worked fine. I will try to reach out to Topaz. Thanks for your advice. @@thejoyofeditingwithdavekelly

Hey Dave, I don't see that Set Resolution option under Upscale/Resize. Is it invisible b/c I have Resize Type set to none?
@thejoyofeditingwithdavekelly Жыл бұрын
In the Preference Panel under Upscale and Resize, go to Output Resolution and you will find a Drop Down menu. There will be two options (Preserver Original Resolution and Set Default Resolution) .If you click on Set Default Resolution you can change the resolution there.

@@thejoyofeditingwithdavekelly Hi Dave, Thx for your reply! That's what was puzzling me. I kept pausing your vid & looking at my PAI 2.0.5 installation (Win 11) & I don't have an "Output Resolution" category visible under Upscale/Resize. I just looked again. I'd set Resize Type to "None" - so that hides the resolution option! If I add a Resize Type the resol. option appears. BTW, they've corrected the Px/in. (vs. cm).
