First of all everything in game as in when actually playing looks way smaller than it actually is, plus aurora is severly damaged after the crash and explosion. Like most things look like 50% of their real size model. Like the boom boom fish is the size of your torso in lenght while it appears the size of a human head in game

@@semajniomet981 Can confirm. In an older version my prawn clipped through the ground and fell all the way down. Thankfully in this older versions physics didn't work all the time so it slowed down enough after awhile for me to repair it, get back inside for it to remember gravity exists, and repeat until it hit the 8km limit and teleport back to 0, 0. I've done this twice. And a third attempt in the latest version where unfortunately it remembers gravity so I can't heal it.

I used the mod that randomised pod spawns at one point too, and I got this landing location. It was very hard, but I somehow managed to get a safe establishment without even dying once, believe it or not. The most important rule I set for myself is that I must not return to Lifepod 5 unless it's absolutely necessary to craft something. My first task before anything else was to start scrounging for a habitat builder, but also for those little supply crates with water and food in them. Those were the most important things to get off the seabed. Swimming around instead of using a seamoth or something similar makes less noise too, which means as long as you keep a low profile and try to avoid line of sight, avoiding the Reaper there is doable. Not easy, but doable. I think I only got hit once, but because I had good health, I endured the hit and it swam off. But my most important task was getting the resources together for a habitat builder and also the additional resources necessary to construct a fabricator elsewhere, as well as a power source. Besides food and drink, I did not focus on anything else except an oxygen tank, scanner, and fins. Possibly a seaglide too, I don't remember because it was so long ago. No Repair Tool, no MVB (Mobile Vehicle Bay), no Plasma Cutter, nothing except precisely what I needed most urgently to make a base. Medkits I found as well as the couple I took from life pod 5 were highly useful for heavy injuries, and the food and drink I scavenged tended to the lighter injuries. Eventually, I had everything I need, so I had to make a push back to Lifepod 5 one last time. The Reaper didn't see me thankfully, so I was able to use that fabricator to make the habitat builder as well as the wiring necessary for a fabricator. Then I split from there as quick as I could back to Safe Shallows to set up the new base. It was extremely down to the wire in terms of time. No joke, less than a minute after I made a small habitat compartment with a functioning fabricator and power source, that's when the Aurora exploded. Then that unlocked the radiation suit, which meant the pressure was finally off. After that, it was pretty much just playing the game as normal. But man, it was intense feeling the time pressure on my back. The only way to succeed was to completely lock in, and nothing short of that.
