The Artidiag can reset components, reinitialise and add new parts and prime systems, as well as code keys, so it's pretty damn good for a non workshop tool.

for VW you need to plug in VCDS then run a balance program takes about 15 minutes after changing the injectors it then calibrates all the injectors while running

The thinkscan can do a lot, the subscription enables a lot of features. I own a thinkdiag 2 and it works great. Thinkscan can do a lot with the subscription including incoding.

Merc injectors probably are written in hex. So you have to use hex calculator in order to make it propelly.

Topdon ArtiDiag 800BT ($539 CAD) is almost identical to THINKCAR THINKTOOL Mini ($596 CAD) THINKCAR THINKTOOL Mini has 8 Expandable Module Functions (i.e. Battery Tester, Printer..etc.) plus the option ($49.95/yr) to do Bi-Directional (Actuation Test) + ECU Coding.

The subscribtion on thinkscan max gives you access to bidirectional control and ecu coding, while with artidiag 800bt you can't do that. This is the difference and this is why thinkscan is better.

Thinkscan you have to pay subscription to do immobilizer programming while topdon is free. So it’s not immediately better

Unfortunately, you're mistaken. MAX 2 has a free lifetime update too. If you want bi-directional and ECU coding function, you can buy it for a year. TOPDON has not gotten bi-directional an ECU coding function.

Topdon came after the think scan but I think they share stuff, I myself have the artidiag 800 bt wish they would add bi directional tho, also I bought my 800bt when it 1st came out so it only has 16gb memory the newer ones have 32gb

for bi directional you have to spend a bit more and get something like the Artidiag pro

topdon subscription actually is 2 years initially, and is 495 a year after that... for anyone actually looking into buying. so depending on how many different make/model vehicles you'll work on, it could go either way as far as cost

Am comentat din greșeală la celalalt clip unde faci prezentarea la 919x crezând ca mi-ai șters comentariul de aici,sunt zăpăcit zilele astea vreau sa-mi iau un scan tool,nu sunt hotărât între topdon 800 bt și launch 919x. Am văzut ca topdon nu reușește la injectoare dacă am înțeles eu bine. Cu launch am mai lucrat îmi place,dar și topdon e tentant. Ce ma sfătuiești? Mulțumesc frumos și îmi cer scuze pentru neatenția mea!

Nici o problema. Iti recomand sa intri pe www.etronic.ro E site-ul meu, ne poti da un telefon si eu sau colegul meu te putem sfatui ce diagnoza sa alegi. Dar eu personal sunt foarte multumit de Topdon. Salutari!

Topdon is rubbish after a year of use the BT dongle stopped working, and no one wanted to repair it because it was from eBay and not an official dealer.
