For the money and simple DIY, this is the best Topdon scanner and the safest one to buy . if you get a more expensive scanner like Pheonix plus or pheonix lite, you get a complete bidirectional coding and much more capabilities and more services but once the two year free update runs out, you lose the online function like ECU coding, etc will be disabled. so you left with a 1000+ doorstop.

Nice tool, looks good. Love the touch screen, mine is worth a lot more $ than that and I'm always trying to tap the screen when it's buttons next to the display LOL

what its really good for is if you want to do your own injectors - diagnose , replacement you can input injector codes and do a pilot learn if you have to , shows all injector feedback etc , etc if you do a little research and learning you can save yourself a boat load with this scan tool or at least no what the problem is before you take it to the shop

Yeh exactly i was hoping to do this review in a diesel so i could show that. Even something as simple as being able to bleed abs brake systems is a game changer and a huge money saver!

Enjoyed your video but have a question please: I have a Peugeot Teepee (model doesn't really matter) but the AdBlue unit has been disabled as the damn pumps go wrong so damned regularly and are £2000 to replace, but will the fact that it has been disabled mean that a scanner will not work or do a health check for example?

I ordered one the other day turned up was the Topbon 500 it didn’t work on my old commodore Grr but anyway I got in touch with them and said my car was too old for that model I need a AD800BT for my car just want to doublecheck can anyone confirm this as I do not want to buy another one for nothing any help be careful thanks mick

I’ve been told that using the US Ford option works better on Aus Fords. Haven’t tried it though

Not 100% sure for you but I have to use an adapter plug with my OBD as the r34 has a non standard port!

@@datdom34 Yeah, Nissans of that era have a Consult port (vs OBDII). Mine doesn't go anywhere anyway, since I have replaced the stock ECU with a Haltech.

Test it on a BF Falcon and see if it can do the steering angle sensor reset - Falcons are the orphan of the Ford world when it comes to their electronics and unique to it, I had an Autel MaxiSYS Pro and it was fucking useless on Falcons but it worked well on Commodores because they share electronics with their US counterparts.

Do you have to pay every year in order for this OBD reader to work ? If you dont pay does that still work ? Do you need to have internet to used it ? If you don't updates does that still work without updates ? Out from the box can you used it without wifi or internet ? Can this scan for Fuel Pressure ? And can this scan for compression test ? Is this a Complete diagnostic Scan tools ?does it Scan from 1996 cars going up ? How about Toyota Camry 2001 2.2 Liter 4 Cyl or Buick Park Ave 2003 3.8 Liter does it Scan these cars ? Does this scan for battery ignition parameters ? Does it Scan for a bad head gaskets ? Is this the latest version 2024 ?

Hello, I have consulted the official this question, and their answer is: "Artidiag800BT does not support to increase the storage capacity, have you had downloaded two languages system, usually, the language system takes up a lot memory.
