Got one of these the other day. Bit smaller than I thought, I’d think if you want to put mountain bike tubes into it the XL version would be best.

Personally, I wouldn’t put a tube in such a bag - It’s a waist of space. I would either buy a tube holder that can be attached directly to that frame or simply twist the tube around the frame. Some years ago I made my tires tubeless. Since then I didn’t have a single flat. So consider this as one of the most important investment in your bike. This is also why taking a spare tube is hard to justify for short rides.

@@YoramPomer fair enough. I have a mini pump that I have strapped to the frame, so I’m putting the tube where you put the CO2 and things. Also mine is for a road bike so I don’t need as much space

does it keep the water out in the rain? Thanks!

Hi Zeno. As it’s not going to rain here in the upcoming 4 months, so I left the bag on the mount as I was washing the bike to see what happens. The case shell seems waterproof , but the zipper is not. So the case got wet because water penetrate through the zipper. The conclusion is that the case is not waterproof.

It’d be rain resistant but if it got soaked it would get through.

You think it can fit a mini pump in there?
@YoramPomer3 жыл бұрын
Depends on how mini it will be :-) Personally I don’t think it’s a good idea because you can fix the pump directly to the bike without the need for a bag. The bag is good for organizing small parts together and less for carrying one item. BTW, I have a CO2 tire inflator for emergencies. Up until now I never had to use it :-)

Tubeless all the way

It’ll fit a tube in. I have a 700c max 32 size in it. It fits in the left section with about a 2cm gap at the top. I’d get the XL version if you want to put a mountain bike tube into it.
