I believe he really loved Maureen, & I think their split had more to do with losing their son, & possibly him losing his great friend John Bonham. Losing a child has ended many marriages. If it was his supposed cheating, why did she stay as long as she did?

Had I known he was married, I wouldn’t have gotten involved with him no matter how famous he was. Who impregnates his sister in law? Come on! He is the best rock n roll singer, but was wrong toward his wife. Sin begets bad consequences.

Even to this day I believe they love one another and will always love each other. They have 2 grown children together along with grandchildren. Nothing can take that away from them.

Singer Mary Wells had three kids with Cecil Womack and later another child with Cecil's brother, Curtis Womack. Cecil later married Linda Cooke, daughter of his family's mentor, Sam Cooke, and they had a large family. Linda's mother, Barbara, was once married to Bobby Womack (brother of Curtis and Cecil). Bobby and Barbara had a son together named Vincent. Barbara also had a son named Vincent with Sam Cooke. That child passed away in a drowning accident when he was a toddler.

Strangely I have an uncle in England who has 5 kids, 4 with his wife and 1 with her sister. This happened in the late 60's. It's amazing but they've all always been close, the sisters are also close, and today their grown kids (and grandkids) are always around all of them. One of my relatives went to visit recently and they were all there together at the house :)

At one time, right at the beginning of Zeppelin, Robert went and lived with his sister in law in a caravan. Can't remember the dates but in the early 70s. We all thought he'd gone crazy. His wife was beautiful.
