There's also another dialogue for Durnehviir, where if you killed Alduin before meeting him, he'll tell you that even though he's in the soul cairn, he (somehow) got the news of the world eater's demise and that's the reasoning he gives us for the Qahnaarin title. I was freaking shocked to say the least and was also proud that I got this dialogue lol

Dark elf necromancy is such a weird turn, because no one is more opposed to necromancy than the ancestor-worshiping Dunmer as a whole, and yet the player does come across a surprising number of dark elf necromancers throughout the game.

I think that'd only apply to necromancy in Vvardenfell/Morrowind where their ancestors would typically be buried. But since this is Skyrim and the ancestors of the Nords, I'm guessing the Dunmer don't care.

Seranas "interaction" with the Molag Bal shrine is a glitch. Well, maybe not exactly a glitch but it's not something that was programmed or intended deliberately for her to do. She's programed to interact with anything that can be interacted with, hence why she often sits on chairs and benches, randomly starts smiting or making potions when you're with her. When you go to the shrine her programing to interact with it kicks in and she "interacts" with it and thus does the same animation Logruf does when hes trapped in it

Fun detail; you can actually catch arrows without the slow time shout, you just need to be lucky that the frames and arrow speed work out to have it in reach before passing by, and even then it's a frame-perfect input.

If all the Jarls were vying for High King or supporting either Elisif or Ulfric, I'd agree. But that seems a bit murky. Half the Nords in Skyrim don't seem to care what happened to Torygg. The Stormcloak sympathizers seem to just want foreigns (particularly Elves) out. The pious want to worship Talos. At no point do I see this being a Nordic scuffle. Also, Tullius and all the Imperial commanders call this a rebellion.

@@cathdodd5072 I think you're thinking about this the wrong way. A rebellion means there's a civil war, the rebellious are the ones who fight against the powers in control (Stormcloaks fighting against the Empire in this case). You can't have a civil war without rebellion... that's why it's a civil war, and not a "normal" war like the Empire VS Dominion. At the beginning of the game essentially half of Skyrim is carved up (much to the benefit of the Empire), with one half vying for the Stormcloaks and the other vying for the Empire, which makes it a civil war.

Serana was coded to interact with any interactable surroundings, which in turn also results in her doing activities reserved for specific NPC:s in specific quests. like the shrine, where the priest of Boethiah cowers down and in Honningbrew Meadery, pouring herself a tankard of mead with rat poison and gulping away

The Candlehearth Hall innkeeper will be rude to a Dunmer, though she'll rent the room to you. Buy something off her and it sweetens her mood. Somebody goofed somewhere. Enthir who is a Bosmer will identify himself as an Altmer during the Mercer questline. Everyone in the Goldenglow questline calls Aringoth a Wood Elf, but he's an Altmer. You can walk around in The Ragged Flagon as a werewolf once you're in the guild,they don't care.Yes I have a screenshot of it unless they changed it in a patch.

The reason the Vegetable Soup hing works, is because you only need 1 Stamina to do a power attack (or Swing Stendarr's Hammer, if you want to use the weapon with the worst drawback in Skyrim). Vegetable Soup gives you 1 Stamina every second, so you have infinite Stamina as long as the soup lasts! Another effect of the Veggie Soup is that the Stamina restoration effect stacks with itself. Meaning if you eat like 50 of them, you'll be getting 50 Stamina every second! Doing this and then taking off any Heavy Armor (or Switching to Light) effectively gives you infinite sprinting while the soups last! XD

Hard to tell if Serana's reaction to the Molag Bal shrine was intentional or just her "perform animations relevant to nearby objects" AI firing off on the animation used when someone's trapped in the shrine's cage (similar to how she'll do the Black Sacrament animation) in a happy coincidence.
