Video games being curated, structured experiences. Generative AI. We're reaching a point, I think, where Nihilism is undeniable. Nobody and nothing is truly 'unique'. But what matters is what we do with that. Creating communities and meaning for ourselves. 'Your rose is special because she is your rose' and all that. Personally, I try to avoid looking up this stuff until I've tried it myself. I don't feel bad if other people have figured it out, that's interesting! And the fact that somebody figured it out first doesn't detract from the sense of accomplishment.

@@JohnnyTightlips2007 It could be the spacing of your wagon wheels. This build has the wheels alternatively placed on the left and right sides so as to make sure they never sit flat. It doesn't look very nice, but if it's different from what you're doing it might resolve your issue.

Colgera is a joke with a tri shot bow. One shot and it breaks both layers of ice and shatters the weak point all in one go. Marbled Gohma is pretty easy too, and the leg it drops on death has really nice stats. Side note. The Colgera fight on the southeast end of the gerudo depths has a weapon ghost with a pristine Gerudo Greatsword within spitting distance of the arena, just to the left. Good for making scary killing machines.

No, it's the beginning of the end of Zelda. Imagine if they spent all the time developing that dumb mechanic developing actually hard puzzles and giant interlocking temples. The lightning temple was just a tiny taste of what these games could be if Nintendo fans weren't mentally infantile. No shame if you like the building but this is not Zelda, Zelda is a dungeon crawler puzzle game with fast paced combat. This game has dungeons you can beat in 5 minutes on the first try, puzzles that only a 5 year old would have trouble with, and the weakest combat of the whole series. Anyone who is a real Zelda fan can see this is the end of the greatest rpg series to ever exist

I've been a fan of Zelda since a Link to the Past, don't get me wrong, I love those games, but if you were a TRUE Zelda fan and knew your history, back in 2011 Zelda got destroyed and people paid no attention to it because of a game called Skyrim. Because of that, the Zelda team knew they had to innovate because the linear dungeon crawling puzzle solving mechanic THAT YOU LOVE SO DEARLY just dOesn't put them in the triple A class of games anymore. Hence why we had BOTW. BOTW and TOTK are a masterpiece and is a result of the Zelda's team's genius adapting to the times and being more innovative. So you can be an old head Zelda gate keeping purist and blabber about the old ways, that's fine, but remember, nobody cares what you think and as for me, the NEW zELDA MECHANIC is genius, and I won't be surprised if it wins game of the year.

@@sagereef And btw, Zelda isn't an RPG, it's more of an action/adventure game OR an action role-playing game with a stronger emphasis on ACTION before role-playing because a large part of the combat relies on your real-time reaction rather than turn-based mechanics AND there is no standard level up mechanics by accumulating experience after defeating a foe like every RPG. The progression in Zelda is based on how you explore the area to acquire the means to increase your heart bar and new gadgets and skills. And you call yourself a true Zelda fan.

I know that springs made for a good suspension as well, but I often struggle to find them. I always have an overload of portable cooking pots on me, though: I keep forgetting that they exist, and I just make my way to the nearest actual cooking pot. I keep getting those suckers from zonai device dispensers, though, so I've got like 40 of them now to experiment with. I mean, I'm trying to build a mix between a tank and a truck, so I kind of need it to have a good suspension system.

Oh, man, those mining devices are going to be absolutely perfect for my upcoming challenge run.... Zonai Devices only 100% - 100% the game, but aside from where actually required (such as sidequests that require you to bring a horse to an npc) absolutely everything has to be done via zonai devices. That includes Combat, climbing, movement, item acquisition, etc. So far, the main things I'm probably excluding from the rule are quests that require very specific things like that one where an npc wants you to bring her a horse, (though I'll probably ~bring~ the horse via a device) and the temple bosses - While I'm sure I ~could~ figure out a solution for them, and will probably give it at least a couple minutes of attempts, they just feel like the most annoying combat encounters to deal with, in particular the wind temple boss. An additional caveat, is that where possible I'm going to try and avoid using generalized machines - No flying across the depths, no death drones for normal combat encounters, etc. Basically, turn the ENTIRE game into a giant puzzle of trying to figure out how to build something that'll work for what I'm trying to do. The one big thing I AM allowing though, is use of the duplication glitch. Because I want the playthrough to be more about puzzle solving and mastering the building mechanics, and not so much... "grinding zonaite and zonai charges endlessly".

Follow-up on it: Beware it has some instability, you may find parts twisting out of fuse. Cockpit gimmble works pretty well, just enhances the angle flexibility you can stay on a steering stick.

Mining clusters of ore is extremely efficient with using Goro fireball roll once, and then Riju lightning. Almost always one-two clears the whole pocket as goro opens it up so a lightning bolt can land in the middle of the cluster and wipe it out.

99.9% of Nope. Adding any physics object interactions as DLC could destroy how physics works in the base game or break functionality, and would need tons and tons of testing. No game to date has added physics based DLC interactables after the main game. There have been sequels or stand alone DLC expansions that have done it.

9:15 my solution for that shrine puzzle was to attach the log to the front of sliding platform like a battering ram and attach the block to the metal ball and chain to add extra momentum when the chain swings. That propels the platform close enough for the log to hit the target. I did not know bomb arrows work on those targets until I saw that clip here 😅

9:13 I stuck the log on the top of the moving platform, attached the block to the chain, pulled the block up, and dropped it. The block provided the momentum for the moving platform, and the log on the top provided the reach.

For the clip with AcidBrain, I stuck the box halfway on top of the front half of the platform, stuck the log centered on the front side of the box, shoved it all the way to the button, let it come back, then used Rewind to somehow give it the force needed to press the button. Basically I made a really fat finger with a very small fingertip.
