Race cars can do it easily. The Viper wasn't even challenged as the draft car. But I can still imagine the driver laughing about how fast it did have to go to keep pace with the van. The background of this challenge is that Jeremy wanted to run the Ring in a diesel to show that it was at least a better diesel than most, so first he had her as the guide, then kept running until he finally broke under 10 minutes. He went back to Sabine to gloat, and she responded that she could do 10 minutes in a VAN. So they gave her the shot at it.

Loved when Sabine commented "oversteer, understeer and everything",to be able to jump into a shitty Ford transit van and thrash it within an inch of its life around that track and passing other vehicles etc was to me a masterclass of bloody good driving and her joyful smile and enthusiasm was just amazing, what a special lady she was,I'm genuinely heartbroken,R.I.P. Sabine,I will miss your zest to have fun in life and of course your driving.

This is the first time I've seen this... And it's incredibly amazing to watch, even today, 15 years after the fact. She wins in my book, even if the time doesn't show it, she went up against one of the fastest cars of that time, and in a van that I can't get the 2014 edition over 90mph in with no traffic. That's absolutely mind blowing.
