My heart is with Klaus and all her family and friends, who are poorer for their loss. Still feels unreal that she's gone, that she's not going to come back with some funny or snarky comment about some car or vehicle. Right now she's in a better place and if she was here, Roland, she'd probably grab us both by the neck and knock our heads together for fighting at her memorial. ;) And she'd be right, this is a memorial, a place to remember a person and their life, this is not the place for political fights.

While i was never was a huge fan or my father my sisters loved Top Gear and their many girl friend's as well, they loved the banter, jokes, silly adventures, and the chemistry between the 3 guys, weren't that interested in the fast driving as such all that much, and it wasn't because of other members of their family that they watched it either, because they didn't, no it was entertaining to them!

The tragic news of Sabine's passing hit me hard yesterday. I had never met her, I had seen her on the Top Gear programme and to find out that she had been taken from us at such a young age was a body blow. We also lost the legend, Murray Walker during this week but losing Sabine, well, I think it just stunned all fans of motor sport. RIP Sabine, the outpouring of tributes just goes to show how much she touched the hearts of so many people across the world..

Severity One I was a racer that used to race tricked out Japanese cars and I would make those things do what most didn’t think could be done by a Japanese car, now a German car I could test the waters with a out of a factory setup and it do well but a tricked out German car, even I would be to scared to push it past it’s capability, but Sabine she would and could.

Its so bittersweet to watch this. I first became aware of Ms. Schmitz in the famous run around the Nurburgring in a Transit van. She obviously had such strong determination and cheerful positivity that affected so many people. Although I found unwatchable the Three Stooges Clarkson / May / Hammond act, genuinely serious car ethusiasts / drivers like herself occasionally made odd segments a joy to watch, negating the "carboat" or other nonsense rubbish. She's a prime example of the adage "Only the good die young." Cheers, Sabine. You're contributions to the world during your life are greatly appreciated.

Amazing! This lady knows how to drive, especially on the track. I credit BMW for making all their cars rear wheel drive; rear drive works the best. Sabine definitely knows how to drive; I'm sure that she's got stories about other vehicles she's driven. Sadly, one can't fully experience a BMW in America, due to inconsistent road conditions, restrictive speed limits, and plus, we don't get the same BMW models that Europe gets, thanks to the EPA. I bet that BMW M5 is smooth at 100 MPH........

Brilliant. Honestly can't wait for the new Top Gear, Sabine is already my favourite presenter. I know a lot of people are still moaning and I too thought it was probably gonna be crap but it's not looking that way now. Well done!
