LET'S GO!!!!!!! So excited for this!!!! Also, I know it's just Toph's feet. But the more I watch this teaser, the more I am analyzing it. This is a common thing that I see in martial arts movies. And that is when before Toph stomps the Earth, she forms a circular line, signifying to her enemies, "Go ahead. I dare you to cross my line/boundary."

I'm excited, and she looks the part as Toph. Toph is one of my top 3 favorite characters in Avatar, so I'm glad she's a fan of the show and character. I'm curious who's gonna play General Fong, Judee, Ursa, and Kuei.

Weird seeing Dustin questioning feet! Anyway, she is close to the right age for Toph. Miya Cech is 17. I wish we saw the rest of her, but since Season 2 just started production, I think Netflix doesn't want to reveal too much yet. She's already been in other Netflix projects, Rim of the World, Always Be My Maybe, Beef and You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.

The most important parts of Book 2 that have to be in this season are: The arrive to the Earth Kingdom; return to Omashu and the gang meeting Azula, Mai and Ty Lee; the Swamp; meeting Toph; Zuko Alone; the chase of Azula; the Library with the clue to the eclipse; the kidnapping of Appa; the desert and the serpent's past; the drill; Ba Sing Se and Lake Laokaai; the Guru and the fall of Ba Sing Se.

I also hope these events of season 2 will happen otherwise the story of this season is gonna feel pretty empty. But I kinda doubt the library, the Swamp, Appa's lost days and maybe even Zuko alone will happen. If they follow the same pattern of season 1 with just 8 hour long episodes they won't be able to fit all of these events in without rushing them or develop the characters personality. I'm hoping for 12-13 episodes to leave enough space for most of these events to happen. Because of the 8 episode route they choose due to the budget and time the first season missed certain pointers like the personality trades of Katara, Ang and Sokka and some others. Because the story was shortened the characters could'nt naturally develop like in the original. And they took out certain story arcs or replaced them with something new that made the pacing, the story, the emotions etc all feel forced and out of context. I at times had issues following the story because they did this. So I hope for this season and the last one that they'll look in to that.

If season 2 has also 8 episodes, then: Episode 1: Return to the Earth Kingdom and going to Omashu again, with Azula trying to capture Zuko and Iroh and then fight the gang in the same city. Episode 2: The Swamp with the vision of Toph and meeting Toph for the first time. Episode 3: Azula and Zuko chasing the gang by their own ways with all the characters in a showdon with Azula injuring Iroh. Episode 4: The Library with the clue to the eclipse, the kidnapping of Appa and getting out of the desert. Episode 5: The Serpent's Past and the destruction of the drill. Episode 6: Ba Sing Se, meeting Jet again and the introduction of Long Feng and the Dai Li. Episode 7: Lake Laokaai, the freedom of Appa, meeting the Guru to learn the Avatar State and the encounter with Katara and Sokka's father, Hakoda. Episode 8: Azula infiltrates Ba Sing Se and forms an alliance with the Dai Li and fights the gang along with Zuko with injures Aang in the process, Iroh is arrested and Ba Sing Se falls. The parts of Zuko's backstory told in the episode Zuko Alone can be be told in little flashbacks during all the episodes of the season, along with his training with Iroh and Aang's training with Katara and Toph.

@@HauteMashups One thing that I forgot is that they must begin to talk about the Order of the White Lotus, because they will be important in season 3. We already have Iroh, Bumi and Pakku, but they didn't show Jeong Jeong in season 1, so they can put him in season 2 in order to introduce Aang to the firebending before Zuko teaches him in season 3, like they moved Azula's introduction and the Cave of Two Lovers from season 2 to season 1 and Ozai's introduction from season 3 to season 1. The other member, Piandao, can be introduced in season 3 when he will train Sokka with the sword.
