This is very interesting, but I have a few criticisms. When a snake dies on land, a portion of their mass is converted to slugs. Then, those slugs consume some of the nectar dropped. Therefore, in all the tests where a player coiled up and ran into you, results are inaccurate. The entirety of the players body needs to be on water for an empirically accurate test in order to assure the dropped mass is as consistent as possible, because players who die when their bodies are solely on water will only drop nectar, no slugs. The amount of mass you gain from an individual nectar drop is inconsistent, though I don't know the exact science behind it. Although the result is interesting, to me, it doesn't automatically indicate armadillo is broken. The dungeon test aligns with the stated mass intake of armadillo. Although the amount of nectar contained within each "mass blob" seems to vary, you consumed multiple blobs with and without armadillo and took an average, automatically achieving a higher precision than the other two methods. Likewise, I don't see a flaw that interferes with the accuracy of the result. Therefore, though the nectar and "snake dying" tests align with each other, it seems the dungeon test was both more accurate and more precise. I think more testing is needed. If armadillo proves to be deficient, water carrier should probably be tested as well.

Yes, for this test to be fully accurate it needs to be in the water and a plus 1.2% is added to the original 56% when you are using it with the 50% nectar bubble. Official Max Armadillo only gives 54.8% nectar if you evaluate it correctly. Plus, water carrier is added it's actually 127.2% Nectar consumption with all max nectar pets and nectar bubble. It's how feeders get 950,000 off of a 1,000,000 player.
