When your catching your skip-jacks. Take your screw knob that screws to lock on your handle. Put the handle on the othe other side and screw the screw knob back in on the other side. Because the way your doing it is akward. Instead of reeling the reel in back toward you. You’ll be reeling going back away from you, which will make it much easier

I don’t know what the actual total weight could have been but it’s got to be close to 350- 400 lbs ( maybe 500 ) cause you guys slayed em on this trip !! It’d have been one hell of a tournament weight for catch and release ( weigh em and drop em type ) the Gingers ( I’m one myself ) kicked ass on this trip !!!

need recommendations on a rod. Around here a 15lb cat is a good fish, 30 pounders are rare. So think 15lb cats and 10lb 25 inch stripers so nothing too heavy duty like for 60 pound flatheads or anything like that.

Knob ipposite of the reel.handel Unscrew it and the reel handel will come out. Swap the reel handel to the ither side. Now its right handed. Spinning reel the reel gangs down. Upside down if a bait cast reel ir clised face reel. Or? Contine to hone your left handed skills. Lol. Respectfully you did ask.

I fish & I’m not a PETA person, but I can understand why people that don’t fish would think this is cruelty to animals. I know you need the blood to remain in the fish for future blood attractant for catfish. That being said the chunking of fish in the cooler & allowing them to die in a slow suffocating death is why these people are turned off to fishing. P.S.
