The Spectre looked wider or was it just the bright color?

The width looked about the same to me, except the midsole flares out wider in the heel. Russ said it was to add stability.

Nice. I think I want to give the original Specters a try again and the Atmos. After enjoying the FWD, I think my sweet spot has gone from 0 drop to low drop just due to Achilles issues.

@@brewlovinrunner , I do well with anything between 0mm and 6mm drop. I have some friends that have found better luck with low drop due to achilles issues.

Thanks for the video. I am really excited for the Spectre 2. I assume it will be less stable than v1 - but still stable enough?

I would assume so, we will have to see. I know they flared the heel more to help with stability.

Looking forward to the Spectre 2. It just looks fast. It will be a nice complement for the Cyclone 2 & Phantom 3.

I am really looking forward to that shoe. It is going to be hard waiting until August. I put 50 miles in my original Specters this weekend. Such a comfortable shoe, but really looking forward to the Pebax midsole and more outsole rubber.

It's a stiff rocker shoe where Cyclone 2 is flexible and has traditional geometry. I thought Topo is all about running in a natural way. Because of its controlling geometry, I'm not able to forefoot strike in the Spector like I do in theCyclone 2. Make another shoe like the Cyclone 2 with a higher stack hieght so can run longer distances.

Both the Cyclone 2 and the Specter are pretty rockered. However, the Specter is a lot more firm. Hopefully, going to all Pebax will make the forefoot more flexible. However, we will have to see, it is a lot of stack height.

Hey Topo! You're putting out new iterations and new models that are coming in the future in an array of different colors. But yet you got the Cyclone 2, a cult favorite, that's been out a year and is only offered in one color. Doesn't that have to be addressed first. Cyclone 2 fans are ready for their second pair and don't want to buy the same color twice. It just doesn't make any sense. And please don't put out any all white ones. Their for the road, not for the gym.

If you look at the video, below the Specter 2 on the wall. It was the Cyclone 2. They will be releasing more colors, however, I don't know the release dates. It does look white and black are coming.
