Topo Bag bit.ly/2YctiCB HEROCLIP fave.co/2MtI9kS I forgot to include a shot of it, but the zips can be threaded through the security loops by pushing the nylon end through first. This way allows both zips to be secured.

I love how the Eagle Creek Specter packing cubes fit perfectly in this bag!
@PackingLess5 жыл бұрын
Ikea packing cubes also fit very nicely

Great review Dean. Love all the details, weight and water resistance are really important.

Very nice, detailed review. Like you, I’m concerned about the weight of bags. In this capacity range, this seems to be lighter than most. Did you consider or try any others that were lighter? I’m not finding much out there. Oh, and thank you for the shot of the bag under a seat! Looks like it fit with plenty of room to spare. Thank you!

You're very welcome. In terms of other bags I have a list here www.packingless.com/best-carry-on-backpacks/ you can sort by weight to the the lightest ones available. But yes the options are quite slim. I wish there were more under 2.2lbs (1kg) available

@@PackingLess I use a Tom Bihn Western Flyer for one bag travel. It is made of a Halcyon material and weighs just under 1 kg/2.2 pounds. The bag's 26L is generally more room than I need, but the extra space is nice in terms of not having to cram things together very tightly. It isn't a waterproof bag, but I have used it in a driving rain and water didn't get in even through the zippers. It offers great organization, but is very pricey.

The navy blue and olive version are 1000d cordura. The Ballistic black is 1680d, hence the weight discrepancy. I love the sturdiness of the bag, feels like it’s going to last.

Thanks for that, yes its super durable and well made.

this doesn't come with the packing cubes?

It doesnt come with them but Topo designs do make cubes that fit perfectly

I hope you enjoyed your trip. It is a well constructed bag but as you mentioned low cost carriers (Norwegian) have strict weight requirements. What camera were you using during the boat ride? The clarity was excellent. All the best
@PackingLess5 жыл бұрын
I did thank you. The bag is of excellent construction. For the boat and pool shots I used my Google Pixel 3

What is your preferred 20L and 30L bag? Also what case do you use for your Switch?
@PackingLess5 жыл бұрын
I prefer a smaller bag generally. I'm always trying to get a smaller lighter bag. It really depends on the weight of the bag itself while empty. I look for bags under 1kg (2.2lbs). The Switch case I use is the Tomtoc case ( amzn.to/2ARcLFV )
@PackingLess5 жыл бұрын
Sorry I just realised I didn’t fully answer the question. My preferred 20L is probably still the SD20 from Goruck which was discontinued unfortunately. For 30L the TOPO deigns 30L travel backpack I recently reviewed ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/d2LKg5WArd-ma8k ) is probably my favourite in that size.

Can I request a review of the Patagonia Tres 25L backpack?

Hey, sure, the bag looks interesting but hard to find local stock here in Australia, I'll see what I can do.

What is your preferred one bag travel bag? I thought this one was good but you prefer a lighter one?
@PackingLess5 жыл бұрын
I prefer something under 1kg (2.2lbs). So far the ones that meet this requirement are the Uniqlo 3way bag, the GORUCK Shadow Ruck 20 (which is sadly discontinued) and the backpack I designed myself (didnt get enough support on kickstarter).

If you couldn't manage to put the zipper in "anti-theft" mode easily is because you didn't do it correctly. You need to pass the paracord first, then pull the zipper.

Thanks, yes I did realise that after filming and put it in the pinned comment at the top of this video.

If that’s what that bag looks like on you at 5’10 I can’t imagine what it looks like on me at 5”6

I think my height could be between 5'8 to 5'9 depending how calculate it. My girlfriend in this video is 170cm (5'6)
@zuluflor45 жыл бұрын
for me this is to heavy to big and has to many pockets
@anthonycbrown19525 жыл бұрын
Zulu flor The security loops make those pockets a plus. Low chance of getting items lost. I thought the bag looked large until he showed it under the seat.
@PackingLess5 жыл бұрын
Its a surprisingly slim bag for a 30L. Its just more spread out over a larger footprint
