Thank you, but how do you solve inaccurate triangulations when there are vertical elements like a curb, steps or retaining walls in the site?

That detail does not typically come through from a Civil CAD file, either in contours or triangulated surfaces. But there is a way... if Civil 3D is modeled correctly they can publish the surface to BIM 360 (Civil does not have to be working in BIM 360) and then Revit "LINKS" in the published surface.
