RIP Martin Lee. Haven't heard of this group and their songs in years. I remember they used to be on Top of the Pops regularly in the late '70s, and to some degree they reminded me of Abba.

Sad news that lead singer Martin Lee (seen here second right) has died at the age of 77. Lovely childhood memories seeing BHOM perform this and many other of their great songs on Top Of The Pops during the 70s. RIP Martin.

This might just be a song to many other people, but when I was little, my dad used to sing this and it always made me cry, so then he’d give me a hug and say “Don’t worry, daddy’s not going anywhere” and it’d get me to stop crying. 4 years ago when I was 12 we sadly lost him to cancer. This song means even more to me now. It still makes me cry. I wish my dad could still be here to hug me and tell me that he’s not going anywhere, but he did have to go. Love you dad, I’ll never forget you 💜

I never listened to it again until now, 4 years later and my heart is full with happiness. I'm sending my love to anyone coming back to this song. Happy almost new years, I hope your 2023 is filled with blessings and happiness. You deserve it ❤

I strongly remember this song as i loved it sooo much! It was my 8th birthday and my parents bought me amongst other things, my own record player with twin speakers, and bought me the 45 record of Kisses for me!! Oh such wonderful innocent days!! Thank you for this video on KZbin, made my day! Anna UK. 👍👍👍❤️

@@reelincoln7747 There are always Nasty people like you wanting to destroy peoples joyful memories. I thought this song and dance was silly as a kid. Now I just remember my Grandmother trying to dance to this with fond memories, and you come along and try to destroy those good memories of someone who has passed away and helped to raise me. It is you, who is Gross

A wonderful, positive song. And the nice performance - everytime I watch this video, I remember the times when everything seemed to be a lot easier and much more happy. I was 7 years old at this time, listening the song together with my father... 🥰 Love this song 💖

This is such a beautiful song, back in the day when we were actually liked in Europe, enough to win the contest :) .. I lost my Uncle David on Tuesday, one of the memories I have is him teaching me and my sister this dance in my mum and dads living room, even the dog joined in

@@Boeddel I think shes referring to the fact we dont win Eurovision contests any more because the countries voting always vote their neighbouring countries so the UK doesnt get a look in.
