You did it again man. You and bboy Byu's toprock tutorials are the most useful ever!

definably, all these "new" Moves, are things i rarely have seen or have never seen and look amazing. For beginners this is a must video so a V3 would be an amazing addition :D
@WatoogieWintertime14 жыл бұрын
hey this is really helpful. there are so many simple things but to be all laid out together really helps. thanks!

damn i love the stuff you are teaching so basic and easy but so hard at the same time, keep it up, but unfortunately i can't do some of these i just developed a style for myself and i cant really do a few things such as the Indian step with a twist. its simple but i just invent moves now as i go on, i see you do too, so keep it up man, if there were more tutorials as inspiring as this, we might get a lot more ppl into the community than ever before :D

since july this year I've been able to practice maybe 4 to 5 hours a week, live in Worcester UK. I do bits of practice everyday but that depends on the weather as there is hardly any space to practice indoors. This time of year sucks for breaking and tricking.

Sure, just need to find some time and hope it don't rain. I'd also recommend buying Storm's Footwork Fundamentals and Bboy Workshop vol 1 with Bboy Focus.

It's style preference, I do both to switch up levels, but bent and low down is what I would normally do, but yeah switching it up is good. Just try experimenting bending/straightening knees, back, neck, arms, stiff, loose, bouncy, smooth, head movement etc all the stuff that gives you your own style.

That's in v1, you can do hip twist with or without the kickout, personally I prefer the kick out, but for a beginner they can add that in later, getting the hip twist was more important in my opinion.

Stay on your toes, keep that groove and bounce in your steps and practice to slower beats to start. Your weight needs to go out on the stepping leg and use your arms, hips and shoulders to exenuate your moves
@Flashlegz15 жыл бұрын
Yeah, unless I can come up with some new ones (don't want to show all my moves) I could do some footwork guides, if anyone's interested and really basic transitions. I can do this stuff in practice but I forget everything in battle, lol
@spiritshuffle13 жыл бұрын
i find the hip twist with the kick added into it makes it hard to get into and makes it heavier for me plus dosent looks so clean and u dont go so fast

Well there are a lot of different names for the same moves, indian step as I know it is where you step out across in a diagnol n back, I've heard it called front step as well. Ideally I would call moves by the original name, but I simply can't say I honestly know.

The majority of breaking that you'll see will involve crossing the legs, then again I should hope to see this in all kinds of dance, in all fairness I don't understand your question and fail to see the point of it. You don't have to cross your legs, do rock step or side steps, do whatever man, peace

Where are you from? Some of the toprock move definitions differ from what I'm familiar with. (eg. your hip twist looks a lot like an incomplete Indian step) Good tutorial.
