Someone say TOPS? Can’t help feel sucked in by clickbait initially, but learned a new word today “incels” yes had to look it up,, wish I hadn’t, (thanks Chris, I’ll store it away with the SJW’s and Soy boys, it’s a truly sorry state of affairs for a need for these terms,) Anywhoo, I’m still busy playing with my El Chete, to go looking for more of my addiction Just today had a Russian guy who was so impressed with it he wanted to steal it, Nope, no, no, no, (it didn’t turn in to a “diplomatic incident” which I credit to the Russians wisdom to the reaction on my face) But on the up side he had really good taste, And he wasn’t a Soy boy (I suspect they cull them while they are young in Russia)

I have the tops cut 4.0 for my EDC and i love it. And i wouldn't consider any tops knife flimsy they are all built like tanks just like Esse knives
@TheStratman0075 жыл бұрын
I'm with you 💯%. I take the CUT 4 and the Street Scalpel everywhere. I live in the country (retired) and took the county bus to town. Some ghetto thug was rambling and raising his voice. He kept attempting to engage me. I'm on a cane from a 30' fall. The Street Scalpel was at the ready. One swipe across the face would divert his attention enough for me to deploy a Krav Maga tactic. I'm 64, but not dead. TOPS manufactures the best defensive fixed blade for the money. I'm former spec ops and have an extensive collection of blades. Imho, I trust my life to TOPS fixed blades and Cold Steel folders. It was crowded and we were bundled up here in the Adirondacks.
@qui-gone4 жыл бұрын
CUT 4.0 has been my EDC for 2.5 years and it has been my favourite knife in some time. But I've been saving up for this operator 7 acid rain version - hopefully it'll be back. I have had enough of the traction coating so I won't be buying the blackout edition.

That's almost as thick as my hundred plus year old froe. You could actually rive wood into planks with that thing. 1075 is some super tough steel, I use it in my bigger blades for that reason. It gets razor sharp and holds an edge fairly well. I like the design a lot as well. Nice recurve and love the double guard. You could lash it to a big stick and have a massive spear that would be pretty much indestructible. I may have pick one up in the future. Great review!

It is definitely a handful. Little doubt that TOPS has one of dragons on loan from Game of Thrones for heat treating this beast. Really a great balance for such a large freaking knife. Didnt see you put it through the paces? Own one of these, picked it up for the hell of it having no idea how large the knife actually is. Got the bronzed finished version. After getting noticed how rare it was to come across. Looking now it appears Tops has discontinued it?? I wonder if thats because the .310 in thick steel is hard to come by or harder to machine or?? I love this blade but unfortunately i doubt i will ever use it because it is still in new condition and the value of it esp now that they are no longer making is just going to go up.
