Yes it is. It’s one of the only mods I did to it. I think it makes clean up a lot easier.

I’m new to your channel . Looking to purchase a tracker . Which size tracker would you recommend ? I have several large machetes and parang’s so I’m looking for more a hiking all purpose one . Thanks

Hello, thank you for the inquiry. The T-1 tracker is my personal favorite but it will not replace any of the tools you mentioned. If you want a good companion for your current load out I would suggest either the T-2 or T-3. They are very similar in size and capabilities. I use the T-2 when packing light with just the bare minimum tools. The load out would be a haversack, cooking/drinking vessel, ferro rod, etc. For full adventures that can last 1-3 days I carry the T-3. It’s a little bigger overall and has a place on my Molle platformed rucksack. Also, since it is stainless I have to worry about rust. The only difference in my opinion is a slight difference in size and the T-3 is stainless. Either way both models are decent cutting tools that can chop or split above their weight class. I think it comes down cost of the tools. The T-3 is a bit more expensive being stainless but I don’t think you gain much in size or edge retention. I would just choose whether you want stainless or not. I hope this helps. Kevin.
