It's a damn good tool. One of a kind. I highly recommend it.

The concave part of your knife is ROUNDED IN for batoning,,not bashing you,just helping you save your RIP SAW for future use.The CONCAVE part is made to take blunt force batoning when your chopping.

Oh, thanx 4 the video trip For my lanyard, I made 3 loops the size of my hand, Then, I did a double hang man's noose for further adjustments . As for the attachment hooks, I found they were destroying my belts, So i changed them to straps, and eventually I bent/ broke the snaps, So I went all out and got the patriot leather/ hedgehog sheath . The revolution. In kodiak color. For precise work, I found batonning works better then chopping, Les exhausting too.. For feather sticking I use the quarter round area, drawing to me, the weight of the tool dose the work,

I don't know, I believe I'm just fascinated by the design mystique for the most part. I like it as much today as when I first bought it though I really hadn't applied it to much more than fire making. I like the idea that it could be an ultimate primitive utility tool.

It was a "movie knife"(a prop) designed/meant to give the impression it has (laughable) supernatural capabilities. watch the movie(" the hunted") the thrown knife blows holes clear through small trees.

Definitely cheeper than buying Becks version. Not as refined, but with some sharpening it is a good blade. Sad more folks don't actually use them, and they sit in collections.

@@TheNinjaEveryDay Amen! I woke up way to early this morning, so I went outside to find some cedar to make a bowdrill set. Nothing like making fire with sticks, then brewing your first cup of coffee as the birds wake up, and the fog dissipates. Cheers Ninja

Nice video bro just a little out of my price for 1095. But I love the looks of the knife. But I mostly carry a folder in the woods an a tomahawk or a saw. That said i dig that saw. But I always carry either my rajah2 or large g10 Espada they are on me one or the other 99% of the time.

Not a saw blade back. It is a notcher, there is a difference. Being a notcher has teeth that are not saw like flat, not sharp teeth. I own one also and its a great knife for bushcraft and survival duties. Good video brother keep up the great work. Takecare.

Nice presentation. All the different angles and edges on this knife are just one big disadvantage to me and get in the way. Makes no sense and is very awkward and cumbersome. I don't see any benefit at all. That's my opinion but to each his own. Good luck with it.

Its not a saw back, a notcher. You don't know the difference?? Its not meant to be a chopper either.

Yeah, thanks man, but I know myself and most other folks will try to use it as a saw in a pinch. Does a good job notching as well.

@masterchief5864 жыл бұрын
@@eje.cutivo a sawback has sharper teeth than a notcher. The notcher has just enough tooth design to make a nitch. That is the diffence.

@TheNinjaEveryDay Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching! I would honestly carry something like this in a backpack with a smaller, more socially acceptable folder or multitool in my pocket or belt. To stay low-profile. Some one-handed opening knives are multitools as well, I like the leatherman skeletool the most, except that the clip loosens up over time, and it can slide out of your pocket.
