About the individual notes he plays at the Em chord: you can play it all without moving your fingers further down the neck. He doesn't slide his pinky towards the 12 fret, but after the 10th note on the B string he plays the 7th note on the high e string. Play the 7th note on the B string after that, 9th and 7th note on G string, 9th note on D string. If you look at live video's you can see he plays this part while holding his hand in this Eminor shape.
