@PzownedProductions Are you sure? McLaren uses Honda engines in their cars? All I can recall is McLaren used a twin turbo Honda V6 engine in their F1 vehicle in '88 called the MP4/4. But that was it. And then Lotus used the Integra Type R engine in their Lotus Elise once but then they switched over to the Toyota Celica GTS engine.

if anything the k motors sounds louder.. the best way to determine the K motor by sound is if you listen to the transmission when they shift gear.. It tends to stay at the same high pitch tone whereas B trannys tone usually goes down and then it goes back up.

Damn small feet people.... The only vehicle with wide enough pedal spacing for me to heel toe shift, is a Freightliner with a 13 speed. And I consider doing that with an unsynchronized transmission, the greatest art of standard transmission driving around.

arnak -- the S2000 lost, and it was superchargered (at about 300 maybe a little more hp)... its the Comptech S2K, and what does comptech make? The EG6 w/ K20 and a good supspension setup was far superior. It went on to race the XS Subaru which was an all around draw... that eg is hella serious

Well, this matchup kinda' proves spartanic wrong. It was the EG Civic with the better acceleration at corner exit. The S2k was able to carry more speed at corner entry and mid-corner. If that S2k was lighter and had a similar power to weight ratio as the EG, the result would have been much different.

actually modifying civics is cheap. The drivetrain doesnt matter too much, that doesnt take away or add to a car if it is awd, fwd, or rwd. They all have pros/cons. You can buy a civic shell cheap as shit, and get a good b18 swap cheap as well. Plus minor mods..it would run fairly strong, not expensive at all

Tsuchiya was gimped from the start, the EG was clearly going to bleed alot less speed off then the heavier S2000, and its drive gearing was set up to maximize its line acceleration, if the S2000 had better gearing it probably would have smoked the EG

acually the s2000 won and tsuchiya said since orido kept up with him when the eg was chasing he gave him the win read the caption. Plus its never the cars really in racing like this its the setup i could tell the civic had a tighter gear ratio which makes him accel faster but the s2000 had greater top end.

It's a K20 for the ignorant people who don't know about this TOP SETUP EG. K20 is superior to the Fseries when it comes to internals, mods and making power, but the S2K is a well balanced car with good performance and amazing handling and weight distribution. I still stick to the S2K. RWD>FWD

Well...the S2000 never was redesigned as a convertible.. it was born as a convertible and designad as such, it has a high-X chasis and was developed to be as fast ans rigid possible. It wasnt derivated from the hardtop version. Also there is a hardtop avalaible (wich i would buy if i had it)
