When everyone talks about methods and doing what works for you, probably the biggest factor of that thought process is you have to know your self. Not what you want to do, what are you able to commit to. The simpler you can keep your idea the more follow through and happiness and success you will have. Don't set your self up for failure by taking on too much. Hey great pow wow TSA, thank you.

Yah it's more about your limits than some specific method
@jesseberg61833 ай бұрын
@@andrewlindell8626 I think your missing my point. A person can know everything about something but do nothing about it. It's about your energy level. What can you commit to. The more energy you put into this - I call it a lifestyle choice and not a hobby, the nore success it breeds.
@andrewlindell86263 ай бұрын
@@jesseberg6183 yah that's what I'm referring to by limits. I picked a method that I believe can work to create stability and good conditions and I'm well aware of what's required to do this and maintain it. Like you said it's about what you are willing to put it into it

That tank is the bomb! The angelfish that he has in there has he ever had any problems with it, nipping at corals or what not because I would be afraid to put that thing in there. But I guess he has so many corals he probably never notice a nip or two.
@TopShelfAquatics3 ай бұрын
Similar to Marks tank, if you haven’t seen that video check it out, but with how large the colonies are and how grown in they’ve become the angel isn’t going to do enough significant damage to notice and keeping it well fed helps too! -Blaine

@@josephmuscat3095Hello Joe. What is the life expectancy of the snails ? Do you have to continually hunt out dead ones in the tank since you said your spending $2 grand every year adding new ones. I guess they don’t breed or multiply? For that much money seems a spare tank might make sense breeding them, if that’s even possible.

beautiful system. I have a lot respect for the his work. It is funny however, when I hear, and not just from Joe, that a reefer isn't doing something "because the ocean doesn't do it", such as gravel vacuuming. The ocean doesn't use artificial salt or kalk reactors.
