I understand that the Sens need more depth but trading for the sake of a trade isn’t Staios mentality. Dorion on the other hand, he’d do it. However, moving Norris plus a pick is not something that will interest the Sens, especially if they can’t get out of the losing a first round pick this year or next year. Their AHL team is mediocre at best and they really need to boost their farm team.

Could see a Simon Nemec or Bowen Byram to San Jose so San Jose can jump their dcore and those players become the number 1 man that they want to be. Return if it’s New Jersey is depth like a granlund or kunin with a Ferraro and picks and Buffalo you could send some prospects like a Mukamadullian and Gushkin or Bordelue with picks. San Jose’s defense looks good with Dickinson coming and those teams get what they want with picks

I still say the HABS should be sellers. Montreal is still isn't quite there yet. They did make a great attempt but now on a 2 game losing streak. I can't wait till we can dump off some salary and dead wood. I so wish we could unload Anderson. He has been a complete bust for the salary he has IMO. We free up 2 salaries from trades after this season as well (Petry and Allen), we also will let Armia and Dvorak go after the season which frees up about another 8 million. We then have 1 more year left on a horrible Price contract and we will be done with that.

The only player we trade Pettersson for from Ottawa is Tkachuk. Norris isn’t even that good, the guy is injured all the time… Maybe for Miller, but he won’t waive to go there anyway. And even if he did we’d need more than just Norris, prob a 1st on top. Chances of a trade with Ottawa has got to be very low.
