You could probably do the same in a well maintained E34 M5 from 1992. Their power outputs are very similar (and the BMW is lighter). Keep in mind this is basically an AMG Mercedes, before they felt the need to stick AMG badges on every panel of the car to make a big show about it. Back then Merceds meant understated quality, not just a badge for people trying to show off like today (same with BMW sadly).

@@skillandluck Почему F90 лучше смотрится? наверное на любителя, но например M5 F90 и обычная гражданская мало чем отличаются внешне, очень похожи. А вот с W213 ситуация в корне противоположная, разница между авангард 213 и AMG E63s по внешности небо и земля. Волчок легенда не спорю, но он классика, куда ему с новым дизацном тягаться. У меня например рест W210 авангард, сейчас думаю взять 213, будет как новая ступень!

К сожалению больше таких не будет, ну разве что рестмоды, построены с нуля, как например оригинальный Countach 2021 года (не современный, а именно 70-х годов). Вот такую машину я б себе взял (оригинальный Мерседес). Но желательно Е60 AMG либо 500Е/Е500

Ist mir auch schon etliche Male passiert, zum Beispiel mit meinem S500 V222. Da gibt's vom Porsche auf der Autobahn Daumen hoch für die Beschleunigung, im Berufsverkehr an der roten Ampel meinte ein BMW-Fahrer "schönes Auto", an der Tankstelle hatte ich 'nen älteren Herrn mit 'nem SL R230 getroffen, wir stimmten überein, dass sein 20 Jahre alter Wagen auch echt immer noch fabelhaft aussieht, an einer anderen Tanke sprach ich mit einem Corvette-Fahrer, an einer anderen Tanke mit einem Jungen Anfang 20, der 'nen C219 CLS 350 fuhr, dann hatte ich auf der Landstraße 'nen Subaru-Fahrer, oder sowas, mit ca. 380 PS, also sone japanische Tuning-Kiste, mit dem ich gequatscht hatte, dann war einer mit 'nem W213 AMG dabei, der seine Karre bei Brabus auf 650 PS getunt war (das war 'ne Rakete).

Thanks for taking us down memory lane. The 500E was always one of my dream cars when I was a teenager. Its amazing how stable the car was on the Autobahn at 260kmh indicated and with quick acceleration as well for an oldie. I remember when they came out they mentioned it had a theoretical top speed of 282kmh without the limiter. But I think that would have been with a longer final drive ratio as you were at red line at 260kmh

As there is a speed limit of 260Kmh. Priority is for the acceleration. This is why for the final drive ratio

Pour l'annecdote cette sublime voiture qui est l'inégalable 500E w124 à était conçu en collaboration avec Porsche afin de concurrencer la Audi rs2 & la M5 E34. Le petit bijoux '''m119""était destiné à la classe S w140 les ingénieurs de chez Mercedes ne savais pas comment calé le V8 la dedans et ont fait appel à Porsche alors proche de la faillite pour faire ce travail plus que respectable,AMG n'était pas encore affilié à Mercedes-Benz à cette époque. Cette voiture de légende est à elle seule la raison principale de l'existence de Porsche aujourd'hui et l'entré de Mercedes dans la catégorie des véhicules de grand tourisme sport/confort.
