WOW, Acey! What a special cloth with mirrors you shared in the first part of this video! You are so right! I do also have a month like that which, still after many years, feels very difficult for me, as I associate it with my grandfather's passing! I'm so grateful to you for bringing that piece into this video but also the addiction aspect of this arcanum. I know I sound like a broken record, BUT it is such an honour for me to watch your #TopTarotTrumps videos, as I learn a lot from them and from your excellent commentary on the seperate trumps and the renditions you feature in your videos! Thank you, dear Acey!🙏💚

I knew I was taking some liberties including unrelated artwork, and hoped you would not be offended. So glad to know it worked for you. It means a lot to me that you find worth in my contributions to your hashtag and all the marvelous heart and soul you put into your own contributions. I appreciate all of my collection a good deal more than I already did, whether or not their arcanum ever appear in the videos! 💖

Love the beaded piece! We are up to a tricky few cards aren't we! Great choices of Devil, and I really like the idea of the first one, it shows corruption and destruction very poignantly.

As soon as I opened the Bee Tarot gift, I knew this Devil was going to lead the pack when we got to this trump.

That El Goliath card is so powerful I love it.. the crazed eyes and blood...wow.. Great choices as usual. The beaded piece with the devil you know and the devil you don't .. so clever and thought provoking. You're very right about addictions, I don't know anyone not impacted in some way. ❤️🌻

That poor goat articulates debasement and terrorized servitude so perfectly. It’s so nice you’re back on YT!

Sometimes when I’m in difficult situation, I imagine my friend reading that line to me over the phone. It helps me feel brave and wise enough to meet whatever kind of moment I’m facing.

I have always had an aversion to the Urban Tarot death card. It made my skin crawl. Your insights on this card helped me sit with it, understanding that the feeling it invokes in me, is exactly what it is supposed to invoke. Indeed a very powerful Death card for the age we live in. Your truthful words for the Bee Tarot Death card, resonate deeply. What a dangerous game is played. I am intrigued by the Pholarchos Tarot. Multi layered images and you so eloquently shared how the Pholarchos Devil played out for you during your year of the Devil. Amazing video. Thanks for sharing

Thank you so much for this comment! It is a really creepy card (Urban Tarot). I read in the guidebook that the person who posed for the image is a professional artists model who was told to look at the deck creator with complete disdain. It took me quite awhile to stop shuddering at the image. Not sure I’ll ever get to that point with the Bee devil. But they are both great examples of the Tarot evolving in pace with the present tense and our variety of odds and obstacles. The Pholarchos deck is a strong favorite of mine.

What deck does the devil that gets into your head come from? I really liked your selections. Those devils are chilling and daunting.

That devil is from the Pholarchos deck. Glad my selections work for you. "chilling and daunting" is definitely what I was going for.

The devil is such a common denominator in our human lives, isn't it. I love the Odyssean Devil. Sometimes we have to suffer for our convictions. I think it's interesting that even after a lifetime of lessons and enlightenment, addiction can reach out and grab a person. I almost picked the Urban as well, but I think it might be a little too close to home for me. NYC was a lot of this for me. Clubs and drugs as a young woman. The dangerous guys who were almost as addictive as the cocaine they offered. Woof. Too familiar. 😎 Every time someone talks about Goliath, I am tempted... but I never seem to come around. 🤔

Ack. I am answering these comments on my phone and just deleted my response to you by mistake . I hear NYC, clubs, and young womanhood/dark slick talking guys and immediately think of my early fiction attempts and a particular character I invented in an effort to keep myself safe from the ‘real thing’ bullshit artists. People in my writing group either hated that guy or developed a huge crush on him. Thanks for that unexpected memory loop
