I am from the 4 Corners region of the USA. I live in the North Western corner of New Mexico. In your piece about Mesa Verde you included a picture of Chaco Canyon ruins. While they are both regarded as Puebloan and built by the Anasazi Chaco Canyon is not apart of Mesa Verde. They are about 138 miles apart. Just thought I would give everyone the correct information.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but Guatemala is in Central America, the Southern part of the North American continent. If traveling by land, South America begins at the Panama - Colombia border, far to the south of Guatemala. richard --

I got the chance back in 1977 at 18 years of age to join a group doing a dig at Mesa Verde. I had time to explore some of the upper apartments since I weighed a massive 95lbs and they figured I would not break the ladders or fall threw the floors. I did dig up some pottery shards and a couple small bones (Not Human). Wish I could find another dig like this since I really enjoyed looking for ancient ruins.

Please note on your Mesa Verde segment. One of he photos in the segment is of Pueblo Bonito in Chaco Canon National Park located approximately 200 miles South of Mesa Verde National Park, in New Mexico. That said, Chaco Canyon did have secondary occupations of the Mesa Verde culture. I worked at both locations from 1970-197 2 archeological projects. Great series.

Sigh... Here we go. Again. Simon the Silly European and his buddies need to do a better job on the visuals. 3:06 - That looks like Chaco Canyon, not Mesa Verde. 3:15 - That is Wukoki Pueblo in the Wupatki National Monument northeast of Flagstaff AZ. Again, not Mesa Verde. Mesa Verde, Chaco Canyon, and Wupatki are all great places to visit. Go if you have the chance. I have enjoyed visiting all three. (Been using my photos of Wukoki Pueblo as my computer background since I visited in 2012.)
