I love, love, love the Bone rods and don't even have the one piece, but one Combat Beast and five different Voyages with a BFS coming. I was throwing my various size Expride one pieces which are damn fine rods and honestly the Bone travel rods feel just as good - four pieces. The BVS 734MH has a longer butt so when I want a shorter butt the one from the BVS 664H fits. For South Florida bullseye snakeheads my sweet spot is the BVC 684MH and it's magic, just perfect backbone and tip action on any lure. Too light or too heavy and I would miss them but on a frog with this rod very few don't get hooked. I have a small arsenal of one piece rods for travel in a seven foot tube that are just sitting, no need for them now.

You guys cast really good but you have to set the hook when the fish eats it snatch back as hard as you can also don't pump the rod just lean back and crank as hard as you can as fast as you can and keep the fish pin in also try using braided line

kenneth london I think you know alot about this fish so, can you give me some tips about casting for snakeheads.. I am using a frog lure and its kinda green . And the spot where I Cast is really good and there are lots of snakeheads but they just dont bite my lure. I’ve been casting for 3 days in a row but the result is negative. I think the Medium action rod are harder to set hook. That's why lewis kept missing.

That's a possibility as well since he hasn't fished in a while. Btw, do you guys plan to make specialized topwater rods with shorter butt section and at around 6ft4" - 7ft? So it will be easier to impart cadence. I had a look at your whole lineup of rods at the shop, all of them are excellent rods but the butt section is just too long for my topwater needs. Please design these new rods by either adding them to your current line-up or make a new product line and call it the Bone Leash rods or Bone Tether rods since it's for walk the dog and dog are usually on a leash. Alternatively, you call it Bone Restrain rods for whatever reason you like. Just my 2 cents.

And please make a travel rod version of it cause we Singaporeans always fish at secret spots or overseas haha. That's explains why the Voyage lineups have the highest sales figure. At least I assume so from looking at rods other kaki uses.

Somewhere next year, but for this series it will not be travel rods. For Voyage Travel Rod series we will be adding more models, so if you prefer travel rods there will be more coming for that as well. Yup it is indeed one of our popular series therefore we are adding more specs to the line-up. Just that it may take some time for testing and the production!
