Cool, I got a Tora Mark II myself a few months ago, and did 5 or 6 videos on it. I stropped mine and have been soaking the handle every few days in linseed oil to stabilize the wood. Did a few videos inside talking about it, then a couple of cutting and chopping videos. Enjoy your new knife 👍🏻

She sure sings when hitting those water bottles. I didn't notice that with your other khukuris and the testing you did. Thanks again for your great reviews.

I’ve got one and happy with it. It helps indeed to treat the handle with linseed oil and wax to stop the wood from shrinking/splitting in drier climates. I also have the MK1/Fort Williams by Tora and a villager sirupate. All three are excellently made, although I have never used them rigorously in the field. Hence I am still wondering about edge retention for instance. MK1 is a little on the wieldy side compared to my Kailash and Neem Tenji versions. Hence looking forward to more reviews on Tora kukri’s, perhaps a bit more thorough than this review, which is still great by the way. Thanks and cheers mate👍

There is a hardwood chop test with the Mk2 involved. It performs well. The Tora Khukuri are made beautifully. Thank you for the comments.

Beautiful kukri and Thanks for the demo. I've got one coming from Tora myself and can't wait to get my hands on her. That sheath is a beauty as well, Congrats on your new Mk2.

I think you will be quite happy with the craftsmanship, I certainly was. I got a Tora Mark II myself and did several videos on it, one in which I chopped some very hard, seasoned eastern red cedar. Not a blemish.

I just got that same Khukuri Mk2 from Tora and your right it is a beautiful package with the scabbard and chakmak and karda. It's a little heavier than the WW2 Officers 4/10 GR that it came with. It's very nice though. I also have a Mk1 Fort Williams coming soon from Tora blades. I believe lm going to branch out and try a GGK model for my next Khukuri after watching your reviews though. Thanks for the great reviews.

Excellent video with a pleasant voice to listen too. The only thing I would suggest if you make future videos is to watch saying uh and um to often if at all. It is something that a professor of mine told me as I had a terrible habit of it. It really helped my public speaking as it communicates confidence and knowledge of the subject. Beyond that attempt at just being helpful a beautiful blade and appreciation for including draw cuts.
