awesome guides, i am trying to make the transition from arms to fury as now i feel i have the gear to do so, and your videos are amazing! the hardest thing for me is to get macros/button assingments/power auras set because its so hard to play fluidly while studing your hotbar and new priorities. the way you explain things in different speed levels is great keep up the good work! oh yeah 2 things i play tauren and have been searching for those arma blades forever love that u use em for xmog! secondly i may have a tiny tip for uber burst to add just a touch...i think you can macro your heroic throw to your charge (since off the cd) to add just a touch for mega dps opener, your the expert but i think it works! now off too practice these vids got me motivated! cheers.

I have a new video out that is all about button assignments! But yes Fury simply requires a bit of practice, no way around it. As for heroic throw; it triggers your GCD and a charge takes less than 1.5 seconds to put you in melee range, so ideally there is much less than 1.5 sec between the shattering throw and the first blood thirst.

Hi Torage! Good gide, though I have a question on the opener. Many guides (e.g. Icy Veins and MMO-champion) claim that it is best to first build up some rage and fish for trinket/weapon procs with BT without CDs. Then pop SB/Synapse Springs/Racials with Dragon Roar, and then pop Reck with CS (or BT if the first BT was not a crit). This way, you let DR benefit from dps increasing CDs without wasting a global during Reck (as DR doesn't benefit from this). You can also delay using DR with one global if your trinkets/weapons did not proc. How do you feel about this? Would it be benificial or is it just overly complicated and unnecessary to perform such an opener. Also, I think you forgot to mention the use of Heroic Leap inside the first CS. Thats a minor dps-increase.

Torage, one addition. If your bloodthirst + collosus smash crit, you already have 2 procs of raging blow so you can go BT/CS/SB/RB/RB/BT/RB. That's my opener usually, i almost always get the CS proc.

Also, it is absolutely important to hit the boss with shattering throw 1second before the tank does. We all know that guy that prepots at 1 second. Therefore we hit the boss before they do, not allowing them to prepot. To survive, d-stance and die by the sword. You'd survive, beat them in DPS, and rank. /joke

Excited for next patch. With how scaling goes, I can only assume that we'll be hitting our soft crit cap pretty soon, then everything would be going to mastery(I assume).

SoO will be the last raid patch in MoP. And as far as I know even in BiS warforged gear you don't reach the 50% crit chance mark (pretty sure you can with the primordius trinket, but its a waste considering its a terrible trinket compared to this tiers trinkets).

Kieyable Oops, I meant expansion. Anyway, it's definitely possible to hit between 43%-45% in BIS WF gear. 5% crit from raid buffs and you got your 100% uptime.

What ilevel were you when you made this, and what does your dps usually average out to? Also, how do you keep your dps from falling off AFTER that burst phase?

That is why I included a full 7 minuet DPS run at the end of this video starting at 13:55 It's sped up but you can still see my damage peaks and valleys as well as damage spread by ability.

ur burst is crazy, im 573 ilvl and cant even get over 600k bursts in our raids, maybe 700k if the rng gods are on my side' ( single target bosses) nice work man

Hey Torage, I'm a warrior with around 542 ilvl, and I'm weighing up Fury vs Arms. I've been told that Fury is better than Arms at higher ilvls, but at the moment my Arms DPS on the dummy is around 160k, but my Fury DPS is only 135-145k, both over a 3 minute period, tested multiple times. I'm more experienced raiding as Arms than as Fury, and Fury is a more complicated spec. Should I expect Fury to start cutting ahead of Arms at a higher ilvl, or am I just not playing Fury properly? Jason Spencer I switched over to Fury a few days ago, and I'll be doing my first normal-level SoO raid with it in two days. At the moment, it seems to me that Fury is just barely scraping ahead, but at the same time, when the RNG's in your favour you can do some crazy high DPS. I'll tell you how it goes after the raid.

Fury is insanely gear dependant, if you don't have a high crit chance than you won't be able to do high dps like he his. I'm currently at 568 and have about 3% crit less than he does. Fury shines with the more crit chance you have.

A lot of that burst came from your cloak hitting 2 targets critting for 175k...lol. There are dummies at Srine that are far enough apart

I am on Mal'ganis-US, its a high pop server that is 99% Horde. there are too many people at shrine and I have frame rate issues while running FRAPS there.

metastaphalies2 Tail tip + evil eye of galakras. Evil eye is the best trinket by a lot because it allows you to leap+SB under every CS.
