Baruch HaShem… His timing is perfect. I needed this teaching at this time. We are traveling to my stepdaughter’s for Thanksgiving. Her mother-in-law is Director of Government Affairs At Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and every time we get together she belittles my faith. This teaching has empowered me to let her negativity “roll off my shoulders”. BTW, she is the one who told me that no one can follow all of Torah… her choice to eat shellfish.

I had a conversation yesterday with someone converting through Chabad. He really struggled with the difference between Jesus and Yeshua, and the difference between “Jews for Jesus” or Messianic Judaism and Lapid Judaism. I can’t tell you the difference it made to my ability to stand strong in my faith by explaining Lapid Judaism. I really feel at home here. I just wish there was a Lapid synagogue closer to me. Thank you for all you do❤

Baruch HaShem!! there’s more believers in the Messiah knew about Lapid then they wouldn’t convert to those other Jewish organizations

Michele Hays checking in :) I think this class is important to know and understand. Being new, I am aware that I can misunderstand and allow feelings to get in the way of learning how to be closer to Hashem. I think any new student of anything can fall into this pitfall. The key, it seems, is to breathe, take it slow, ask all the questions, and don't take the doubters/ folks who are unsure/scared/hateful seriously. It's important to know what you know.

My Sensei said the very same thing... regarding being a student of Karate . Stick with your Sensei...I did a round of boxing, and Kung Fu just to see what it was, and I learned my Sensei was right. I n the past I have listened to other Rabbi’s...by doing that it confuses and waters down everything in the teaching, the learning...So I am sticking with my Rabbi...

People will call you fake because you don't believe what they believe. How true! I was in a discussion just yesterday and was trying to explain Judaic v. Christian precepts. I was told, "You are so learned, but so wrong." Maybe true, but there was no explanation why I was wrong. It was because I messed with their narrative (psychology).

New Testament in the Bible King James Version John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me (Jesus) ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be good cheer; I have overcome the world. Meaning in this World you will go the things, but be of good cheer and you overcome the world that situation.

Rabbi every Chabad Jew that I’ve met in Florida have shund me won’t answer my texts Erase my number ask why I don’t live near a synagogue but when they first see me ask if my mother is Jewish I say yes ask a bunch of questions Then poof that’s it it’s getting to a point that the next time one of those rabbis approach me the first thing that comes out my mouth is so you believe In YESHUA AND WHEN THEY SAY NO IMA TURN AROUND AND WALK AWAY They always approach me

Another term used by Messianic Jews to call us is "Jewish wannabes "
@LapidJudaism2 жыл бұрын
Ignore messianic Jews. They are just Christians and they actually very much dislike all things Judaism.
