The secondary fire is really good for shredding down shield health since the shields are usually large enough to take every pellet from a decent distance

This was really helpful, I was sitting behind a wall on junkertown overloading to repair my turret and I rarely got out from behind the wall to shoot, this taught me to not rely on my turret and instead use it to distract the enemies and now I am gold 2

If you want to relocate the turret, don't destroy it manually, just press shift again it will place a new turret without any cooldown (only works if the turret shift icon is white).

The problem with replacing the turret before manually destroying it is if you throw it, and it starts targeting something before it's hit the ground, it just gets evaporated and the turret stays exactly where it was previously. Although, I do agree that this would most likely be more useful in most situations and I definitely should have mentioned it, I do still think however that manually destroying it gives you insurance that you can reposition it on time, and also allow you to identify where the fight is taking place and perhaps get it in a more beneficial position for the fight. I think it all depends on the situation :D

Argh! When your play torbjorn and meet another torbjorn player, and you and him are the only ones in sight, it’s tradition to both switch to your hammer and begin pummeling each other so see who is the alpha torb. Echo torb does not count.

A new turret can be setup without destroying the original when the turret is out of combat, so I really don't see the point in manually destroying it at all. Zero second cooldown to just throw a new one or 5 second cooldown if you destroy it first. They should really retool this to just be 5 seconds if you destroy it even when it is in combat. I get why they don't do this, cause it would be a race between killing torb's turret and him destroying it himself...But it just makes the manual destroy kind of useless.

But, tossing a turret is instant (takes time to build up yes) but if you are watching for it to go out of combat to press alt (self destruct) you can watch it to go out of combat and press shift (new turret). I guess the risk is that it could be killed while it is spawning which triggers the longer cooldown. I think if you could predict that it would be killed while spawning a new one then yes in that case using the self destruct in that situation is better. But again, 5 second cooldown on self destruct plus waiting for a moment to place a new one that won't result in it being destroyed while spawning...You are pretty close to 10 seconds before throwing one anyways...Better to risk it and just throw a new one. if it gets destroyed then you have the 10 second cooldown anyways. Anyways, great video and thanks for replying!
