What an EXCELLENT demonstration!!! Thank you! I don't have a torch so this will help get started without one.

I think both of them look amazing. I was trying to decide what the difference was between torching and not torching thank you so much for answering my question I wasn't sure if I was doing it wrong by not torching it it's nice to see that it's all personal preference and that I'm not doing it wrong thank you so much your work is amazing

I think if you use silicone you don't need to torch. It develops cells organically. Heating makes the paint more fluid so the cells seem to stretch more. Either way these are very nice.

Yes, I came to this conclusion also. Thank you very much, Pascale!

New subscriber here !! 😊 What does the torch (heat) do to the mix?
@VizoliArt
@VizoliArt 3 жыл бұрын
It creates cells immediately, you can see that in the video. :) Thanks a lot for the subscription! :)

@@VizoliArt thanks for the answer! I keep trying and following all your steps in the pouring process, but my experience has been so frustrating so far 🥺… no cells, or only a few tiny ones after awhile. What can I be doing wrong?

I think with the torch u can control how much or how little u want to use it I got a torch to try different techniques both look good but the one with open the cells up more.

Honestly I don't see a huge difference between using the torch or not. Also, if you decide to use the torch, then at what point do you begin and end doing so?

Thank you for the feedback! It's hard the answer, it depends of the actual painting.

Beautiful as always 😍. In total for 88g of paint, what size canvas did you use, please. This is my problem and how I lose my lovely cells when I get to the tilting stage. I don't know how to judge how much paint to use. Yes, I have experimented but I still ending up stretching my cells too much. Any advice would be helpful 😥 PS. If you cook as good as you paint, I'll order takeout 😂

In total it was 88g * 4 Paint on a 30cm x 30cm Canvas. Try to use more paint so you don't have to stretch that much at the end.. My Wife takes care of all the cooking-related things..if I could cook as good as she can, I would have a cooking channel.. :) Thank you very much, Laurita! :)

I’m glad you asked this question! I’ve been struggling with the same issue. I have something beautiful on my canvas…just need to stretch it a teeny bit…and then…disaster. All cells are gone & I’m left with a puddle of mud. Time to try the new approach!

Would a heat gun have a similar effect? Also is there a difference in paint quality? Like cheap paint vs good expensive brand paint?

Exactly. They look almost the same, so I demonstrated that using the Torch is not needed at all for the Open Cup Pours if the mixture is correct. :)
